Cam Akers - Same deal as Moss, but I like Moss better. D'Andre Swift - I don't really love any of the Day 3 RBs, so at this point, I'd come back to the potential Round 2 guys and Swift is my #1. JK Dobbins - Same deal as Swift but Dobbins is my #2. Clyde Edwards-Helaire - Same deal as the previous two but CEH is my #3. Lamical Perine - I think you can maybe get him in the 5th if you're lucky and I think he compliments Singletary nicely and could theoretically turn into a starter. Jonathan Taylor - I don't like him as much as the top 3 RBs and he'd cost the 2nd round pick also, so I have him slightly behind Perine in terms of which I would want. 15 minutes ago, maryland-bills-fan said: E-H or Akers are the most likely. Swift, Dobbins and Taylor will be gone too early to even thing about trading up for. E-H is "like" Singletary, except that he is so much faster that he can get around the edge, outrun LB and safeties, and be a threat to go the distance. Also, he is a very good pass natural catcher, has good hands and will be a check-down receiver for Allen AND he can spread out wide as a legit 4th WR. Akers is also fast and brings break away potential and is heavier. He catches well but we haven't seen him run with discipline because his offensive line was bad in college. So he has some down side. IF all 5 of these are gone, the second tier in the 3rd round- maybe with a trade up, will be fine. Sometimes these guys can be a real winner, but the chances are less. Cam Akers baffles me. I've heard a lot of people say they love him for the Bills. What am I missing? He seems to be "just a guy" to me. What does he do that is special? What am I not seeing? JoPoy88
AJ Dillion seems like a good compliment to the smaller Singletary. That and I went to BC so I’m biased.

He's my #6 RB in the class, but those that are higher on him than I am would probably argue: Great physical profile in terms of physical build, long speed, and explosiveness. The only RBs with a higher elusiveness rating are Zack Moss and Javon Leake (on limited snaps). One of the better pass blockers in the class. Was pretty involved in the passing game at Florida State (to mixed results). He technically checks pretty much every box you'd look for in a RB and the ones that he doesn't check could theoretically be blamed on the horrific OLine he had at Florida State.
BillsFanForever19
I like a lot of the RB's coming out this year. If either Jonathan Taylor, D'Andre Swift, or J.K. Dobbins falls to 54 - I think you have to pull the trigger. And I wouldn't be upset if they took Clyde Edwards-Helaire at 54 if there were a run on Running Backs. But I think if neither of the big 3 are available, I'd look at other positions and go RB in the 3rd. Maybe even move up from 3.
SCBills
Anyone that’s a home run hitter is fine by me. Singletary has all the attributes of a stud #1 RB except breakaway speed. I’d love to pair him with a Kenyan Drake type back. Edited April 14, 2020 by SCBills

He’s slight in stature, but he’s a physical and aggressive player who has no problem mixing it up with the big boys. His speed/quickness is unparalleled, IMO. Once he sees a hole...he’s gone! Would be a very fun weapon to have at JA’s disposal.

It’s partially why Gore was in on so many plays and Yeldon (who isn’t a great blocker, either) was inactive so often.
stinky finger
Who: AJ Dillon Why: Hammer time! I expect to play with leads late in games. I want a RB to pound the opposing defense, a tired defense, and absolutely punish them.

For most of the draft process he was thought of as a 4th-5th round guy. Seems like he's been getting more love recently though. I personally view him as a 5th-6th.

1st Ammendment NoMas
Can we have 2? Why not! It would send DiMarco out to pasture and maybe Yeldon. Go in with Dobbins in the 2nd, Dillon in the 5th and take and edge in the 3rd. Imagine that backfield. ( I know, McD needs a vet back there>. Yeldon out and we live with Patty and the big 3 plus Wade Edited April 14, 2020 by BillsRdue

Speed is top notch, accelerates well. Really nice hands. If I'm an outside zone team, I like his skill set as a runner. I just think he goes limp when contacted too much and I'm not a fan of some of his pass pro attempts. Balling up like a hedgehog and waiting for someone else to initiate contact seems like a great way to get ***** up. Lurker
I'm sticking with CEH. He's the best receiving back in this class and I think that skill set is the secret sause that makes this offense become truly elite. Much like the K-Gun was predicated on Thuman's receiving prowess. That said, I'd be happy with Dobbins if he fell to us, followed by Moss... Edited April 14, 2020 by Lurker 2
