"There are typically six nails per horseshoe, though some may use eight."

7 is lucky to shoe a horse.

Great observation.

However, I always heard that the horseshoe is supposed to be displayed with the opening to the top.

Otherwise, "the Luck will run out".

(...and that's what happened to Indy last year. lol)

Break a Leg, Colts!

Count me in the club that thinks this is a good look. I like the change and the emblematic meaning behind the adjustment.

Too late. They won a SB with Baltimore’s team. Unitas/Morrall > Manning.

Anyone know what the 7 white dots indicate on the blue C? Or is it just random?

The state in the C is pretty cool though

Matches the 7 dots on the horseshoe logo.  Not sure if that was indicative of anything.

Indianapolis is in Indiana?

Yes just like Kansas City is in Kansas.

One prominent American politician congratulated Kansas for Superbowl win.

He claims it was just ordinary ignorance and nothing to do with fact higher percentage of voters in Kansas voted for him than Missouri.

I’m not a fan of it. Akin to that alternate Buffalo logo with red and blue inside of the B loops that was ?. But at least it won’t be used much. At this point, it’s on the inside the back collar of their jersey.

Saw this a couple of days ago and Uni Watch now has a write-up on it.

Cribbed the original design of a high school (5x state champs) logo. It wasn’t trademarked, but the coach who designed it is talking to a lawyer.

Bad form, Colts.
