My friend was one of yje first families to have cable. They had free HBO offer for a month. The company never turned it off for about 20 years. On that channell after HBO went off at like 1 AM, International would start showing a hard R-rated movie Then a harder R and then at about 4-4:30 a soft X. My neighbor who just retired a year or so ago from them verified this for me.

I saw one of these not long ago, as in within the last 6 months outside the bathroom of a fairly decent restaurant. Fully stocked with modern prices so it wasn't just a nostalgia piece. I would have sworn they were illegal and all but extinct. Also, who the hell carries around 7 bucks in quarters? 1
That's No Moon Posted April 13, 2020 Posted April 13, 2020 (edited) My dad had one that wasn't this fancy for awhile. It was more like the one below. The hospital finally upgraded him to one of these and none of us were allowed to use it. How about this? We went to the one at Summit Park Mall which isn't really a thing anymore either Edited April 13, 2020 by That's No Moon 2 1

Anything is better then the junk that came on the 90s Jeep YJs with the 4.2l They were the originals in having the new fuel saving engine shutoffs at stop lights. Mine would stall every single time I stopped at a light or stop sign..... 1

But throttle body is a cross between fuel injection and a carburetor. My wife is a library director. She phased the card catalog out in the late 1990s. One of them is sitting in my basement as an organizer for tools and parts. 1

That I don't know. I'm not a mechanic (shadetree or otherwise) but I know a carb when I see one (engine or otherwise ? ) . I just remember reading the engine specs and it was a 350 with a 4-barrel carb. Edited April 14, 2020 by WhoTom
