GreggTX Posted April 8, 2020 Posted April 8, 2020 I can only think of Roscoe Parrish and Leodis McKelvin here. Andre Roberts may be considered today's best PR, but I don't think he's anywhere near as good as Roscoe and Leodis were. Some of those moves Parrish used to make were just insane! Am I leaving anyone out? I've been a Bills fan since day 1 and I don't recall anyone from the first 40 years (1960 - 2000) that was as exciting as these 2 guys. 1 1
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted April 8, 2020 Posted April 8, 2020 Leodis Mckelvin was the most terrifying... sometimes for the Opposite coverage team and always for us fans 3 1 2

BillsFan17 Posted April 8, 2020 Posted April 8, 2020 (edited) Terrence McGee!! Â Nevermind he was just KO, not PR. My bad! Edited April 8, 2020 by BillsFan17 5

During those years, any return was exciting because it was either McGee on KO's, or Roscoe on punts. Â One of my favorites was when McGee returned one in the third quarter against the Cowboys on MNF. 5
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted April 8, 2020 Posted April 8, 2020 (edited) In terms of being a good rep for the overall look of the team, Coach Levy. Â I am sure if you ask Russ Brandon this question, he'll say "Russ Brandon". * Your 'PR' might not be my 'PR'. Edited April 8, 2020 by Ridgewaycynic2013 1
First Round Bust Posted April 8, 2020 Posted April 8, 2020 your point is well taken that the position has become more a punt catcher than returner

Damian Posted April 8, 2020 Posted April 8, 2020 Steve Tasker averaged 10.5 yds/PR for his career. Plus he averaged 20.7 on KR, plus 4 pro bowls as a ST and a Pro Bowl MVP. 5 1

The one thing I remember is that Toyota was running a promotion where they would randomly select a fan and if the Bills returned a kickoff for a touchdown in the third quarter, that fan would win a new car. And when McGee returned that one, that fan won the car.

ALLEN1QB Posted April 8, 2020 Posted April 8, 2020 Leodis was good but I sure remember more than a few devastating fumbles I cringed everything he had the ball.
Kirby Jackson Posted April 8, 2020 Posted April 8, 2020 Hot take: If Roscoe came along 10 years later he would have had a really nice career. The game has evolved so much since 2005. There is a place in these spread offenses for his skill set regardless of size. 5
