CBD Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 I'm currently waiting for The Athletic's guide to publish, per Dane Brugler it should be out any day now. The Ringer's guide is free, and ok, but not very comprehensive. Only covered the top 75 or so prospects. https://nfldraft.theringer.com/ I don't pay for ESPN+ CBS used to be my go to and they have a comprehensive list of over 400 prospects, however they no longer have profiles on the players. Only a link to their stats. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/prospect-rankings/ So what websites does everyone use for their draft content?
gobills404 Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 Just go to The Draft Network. They have multiple scouting reports on pretty much every prospect you've heard of as well as a comprehensive joint big board that is based on all of their writers own individual big boards that they make. They also have tons of really well written articles and mock drafts.
DCOrange Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 (edited) The Draft Network is probably the best option for free scouting reports. PFF's draft guide is very good if you happen to have a membership already but I wouldn't buy a membership just for the draft guide. Edited April 1, 2020 by DCOrange
Lurker Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 Personally, I find draft guides less and less helpful and have gravitated to Youtube video of full-length games, where available. Unfortunately, while that coverage is pretty good for the big schools, it's pretty spotty for the small fry. The late Joel Buchsbaum was the GOAT draftnick and no one since has been able to touch that level of insight, IMO. I miss his draft guides massively as he could capture the essence of a player in just a few lines better than anybody (Kiper couldn't hold Joel's jockstrap)... 1
