Rico Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 Willis, you are no Travis Henry. Henry will show your ass how a RB is supposed to run. I didn't even think you were that good at Miami. :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: Willis!! 22987 Damn, only 2 away... you should have saved this for your 1,000 post!
kota Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 I can't believe this was brought up again. Mularkey has said from day one that Henry is the starter. LOL stupid media It is obvious that Willis hasn't gotten over the injury yet. His head seems to be in the way. I hope he has a few good games so we can trade him.
Peter Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 Typical friggin Hurricane attitude. Talk about a school that produces consistent big mouths and cancers. 22891 You mean like Jim Kelly or Bernie Kosar or Vinnie Testaverde or . . . . Don't throw the baby out with the bath water.
jarthur31 Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 I get annoyed with both TH and WM and their mouths somewhat, but honestly, who wants to be a backup in the NFL? Show me a guy who's happy being a backup and I'll show you a loser. 22901 I don't consider Kenneth Davis a loser at all! Oh yea, and he was very happy as the back-up.
BuffalOhio Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 But also produces the most NFL players also. 22925 What about Ohio State? It's gotta be close either way. There's a lot of Buckeyes on NFL rosters right now.
eball Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 Here's Willis' 3 quotes in that article:"That's their decision, it ain't mine," McGahee said after practice. "That's all I can say about that. I'm not worried about it. My time will come. ... Only one person can start and unfortunately he's the one that's starting." and "What, third down?" McGahee said. "Nothing's good enough for now. But you know, you always strive to be better, and that's what I'm going to do." and "I don't want to be no backup," McGahee said Wednesday. "But you know, they're paying me. They're paying me a good salary. So to be a backup, I'll be a backup." WTF is so controversial about that???? 22958 EXACTLY. much ado about nothing. why did i start reading this thread?
USMCBillsFan Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 EXACTLY. much ado about nothing. why did i start reading this thread? 23113 It's like a damn traffic accident. You drive by and don't want to look but....
Engineer1 Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 he's a cry baby 22871 True! I'm sick of hearing this stevestojan! What would lead this boy to think he would unseat a 1,400 yard back anyway! Dumb SOB! :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: Willis take a long hard look at yourself. Your recovering from a major injury. Your essentally a rookie and hence you are unproven. You prove yourself on the field and not through the media. Damn near every great player in this league started off as a back up, ie Brett Farve, Steve Young, and I belive T. Henry started in this league as a back up (not completely sure on this one). You'll get your chances during the season.
Engineer1 Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 You mean like Jim Kelly or Bernie Kosar or Vinnie Testaverde or . . . . Don't throw the baby out with the bath water. 23023 Kevin Winslow Jr.
USMCBillsFan Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 Kevin Winslow Jr. 23186 Ummmm... isn't it Kellen....
Engineer1 Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 You mean like Jim Kelly or Bernie Kosar or Vinnie Testaverde or . . . . Don't throw the baby out with the bath water. 23023 Jeremy Shockey

Engineer1 Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 Ummmm... isn't it Kellen.... 23192 Yes, your right. I guess I don't care enough for him to spell it correctly.
USMCBillsFan Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 I'd be willing to bet that the Canes have whipped the stevestojan out of your team repeatidly and that's the reason for all the hostility.....
Garranimal Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 I'd be willing to bet that the Canes have whipped the stevestojan out of your team repeatidly and that's the reason for all the hostility..... 23220 I went to ohio state and USF.....either way, i am not on the beating end of any Hurricane Hype. I grew up in south florida, jimmy johnson's criminals nearly ruined college ball for me. I have a hard time understanding how any Bills fan can support anything to do with Miami, the hurricanes are like the spoiled little brothers of the Dolphins, though some hurricane players make more than some of the dolphins. The hurricane program has consistently produced bad social apples, eh hem, ray lewis. And to answer someone's post, Jim Kelly was no prize when he first left the 'canes. His attitude was typical.
Engineer1 Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 I'd be willing to bet that the Canes have whipped the stevestojan out of your team repeatidly and that's the reason for all the hostility..... 23220 No, Big 12 fan we don't see them very often unless it is a bowl game. Actually I don't care a flip about them one way or another. I just know their football alumni are usually buttheads.
scribo Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 Willis may be the victim here of being goating into saying some stupid things to a reporter. It happens all the time to athletes, especially young ones. On the other hand, if Willis really feels the way he is shown in that article, he'll be a distraction in the locker room, on the practice field and on the sidelines. I vote to run his arse out of town.
