Unless it’s suddenly postponed, it’s looking like the NFL Draft will be on is in a few weeks.  In this thread, make a bold NFL Draft prediction about the Buffalo Bills.

I will start - my prediction is:

The Bills won’t draft a WR until Round 5.  For all the talk about WR prospects, I believe the Bills feel good about their WR room.  I see the team drafting an Edge Rusher, CB and RB before they go WR.

Also I see the Bills drafting a QB in around 6

We will use a pick from later round and next year to get a second 3rd rounder.

We need 2 or 3 potential impact players and less about depth so the later picks mean less to us this year.

ScottLaw will complain about who they pick.

oh wait, you said BOLD?

Bills will use their 2nd round pick on a running back.

I’ll definitely complain if it’s a heavy defensive draft for sure....

For a group of guys that’s emphasized defense over offense since their arrival this wouldn’t be surprising.... disappointing yes, but surprising no.

I’d actually be pretty irritated if it was a defense heavy draft, too.

They have already poured so much money and so many draft picks into the defense. It’s ALREADY a top 5 unit and should get better as guys like Oliver and Edmunds progress.

Meanwhile, the offense is a bottom 7 unit. This is Allen’s make or break year. Beane said the team needs more “touchdown makers”, and thus far he has only added one. The offense needs more upgrades, namely at RB, WR, and OT.

So with regard to this coming draft? I’m 100% with you. We need offense, and it would be irritating to watch them use three of their first four picks or something on defense.

The Bills will trade up for Jonathan Taylor, as his 968 touches in college will not worry the Bills as they see Taylor and Singletary as a tandem, which means that Taylor won't have a heavy workload in the NFL.

Even though I like Cam Akers, whom they also might have to trade up for.

I expect the draft to focus on offense - I guess that's probably pretty obvious.  But the remaining needs are really O-line & RB.  The D seems set at every position, including quality depth.

I always support BPA in round 1, but since we're not picking in round 1, gotta go OL or RB in round 2.
