What character always made you laugh but wasn't the feature character in their show?

I'll start with Clark from The Office.  I don't know why really but I found everything he did funny.  "Women peak sexually at whatever age Jan was last week" was probably his best line.

Col Flagg on MASH.  Lionel Jefferson on All in the Family.  Gomer Pyle when he was on The Andy Griffith Show.  J Peterman on Seinfeld.  Lionel Hutz on The Simpson's.

Joe Buck doing quarantine calls. Kind of reminds me of Conan O'Brien during the writers strike years back.

Every scene he ever had on that show is pretty much pure gold.

”I saw a provocative movie on cable last night. It was called “The Net”, with that girl from the bus.”

Don’t forget Grady too!

And I always thought it was pretty damned fantastic that Al reprised the character for perhaps one of the greatest music videos of all time...

We need someone like him to talk to pitchfork and torch fans - it would not solve problem but maybe some will be arrested and others think twice.
