It’s not a stretch to imagine that convo: We’d love to keep you, but we can’t at your current salary. Let’s look at the numbers and see what we can work out.
BuffaloRebound Posted March 24, 2020 Posted March 24, 2020 If he took a $700k pay cut as is now being reported, it would cost as much to cut him as to keep him per salary cap purposes. His now $1.1m salary is about $500k more than the vet minimum. He’d have a dead cap of $500k if they cut him.
