BruceVilanch Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 Two things stand out to me on this post. 1. I can't believe I am 2 years older than Clay Matthews. 2. the weed must have kicked in right after I read OP because it turned into a Gurley post. 2
Utah John Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 Bone on bone is agonizing. Knee replacement as soon as he hangs them up, and that should probably be now. No one should endure that kind of pain.

No_Matter_What Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 I wouldn't sign him but he has special place in my heart for his Pitch Perfect cameo.
WideRightRevenge Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 I'll take the 2019 5th round pick from Florida please ... hopefully coming back from injury and ready to contribute in 2020.

Another veteran, somewhat washed up, somewhat still productive DE. Not a bad thing to have but we have enough of them. We need some youth at the position. I'm all for taking one in Rd 2. Young guy with potential is what we need. Maddison? You mean Addison? Last time I checked a guy with almost 40 sacks the last 4 seasons isn't "somewhat washed up". But carryon with your belief that this is solely based on a player's age.
Lurker Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 Sure. I'd love to see some Josh Allen-Clay Matthews State Farm commercials...

Freddie's Dead Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 If the price is right, Clay Matthews would be a good LB addition.
Jerome007 Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 I though he was done because of wear & tear, but if he had 8 sacks and 9 TFL in 13 games last year, of course the Bills should consider him. For the RIGHT PRICE, he is a proven player that can play half the reps, and the Bills are obviously going for a heavy rotation style defense, which is good news for aging players while allowing young talent to shine as well.
