Exactly.

Turkey is a Sunni dominant country and Iran is a Shiite dominate country, and they both could care less.

Yeah, but Trump is racist. That's all that matters. ?

LOOPHOLE THAT GOES ALL THE WAY TO CHINA:

Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) says it’s time to shine light on a provision of the 1984 U.S./China tax deal that lets Beijing avoid levies on the interest it is paid on those U.S. Treasury securities it buys to fund America’s national debt.

The evil communist regime of China certainly has a lot of balls, but I think they'll come up quite short of their aspirations in the long run.

The headline is misleading. The 54 researchers did not work at the NIH, they received extramural grants from the NIH. After the China links became known, the NIH rescinded the grants. As a consequence, the researchers were fired from the home institutions. The National Pulse article in your link is based on an article in the magazine "Science", which has a more appropriate headline:

"Fifty-four scientists have lost their jobs as a result of NIH probe into foreign ties"

The headline is misleading, but not by much.

The NIH functions as a general contractor that subs out the research to various groups as essentially subcontractors.

When these contracts are terminated, they are essentially fired.

I understand your point on the headline to some extent, but the fact remains that for many years, these audits did not take place, hence additional research was exfiltrated to the Communist Chinese and used in their bio-weapons research. Calling the work gain of function research makes the work seem far more innocent than it actually is.

Keep in mind that NIH invested 4.5 million dollars in some of these researchers who were working directly out of the Wuhan Lab doing gain of function research.

It leads me to believe that this was allowed for some time in the hopes of seeing where it leads, which is directly at the feet of the Communist Chinese Party.

It will be interesting if this story continues.

Who exactly were the financiers of this fraud and what banks did they use to facilitate these transactions.
