Tyrod is as good as the Foles/Dalton/Mariota/Jameis/Trubisky level guys. It makes sense financially as well. They’ll draft a guy and play Tyrod until the guy is ready. No reason to pay 2 placeholder types.

That may not be the worst thing for the Chargers at this time. Tuh-Rod will be steady and not commit many turnovers. Yes - he likely wont win games with his arm - but at least he wont lose them. Also, Anthony Lynn is very familiar with what Tuh-Rod can do.

I would not be surprised if the Chargers are competitive and fighting for a playoff spot in December.

They are definitely drafting a QB.

When you are sitting at 6, with no QB of the future? you have to. They could even move up possibly

They better move up. I can't imagine a season with Tryrod as our QB again.

Herbert would be a great fit there imo

I wouldn't touch him with their 1st pick personally. I think they either move up for Tua or wait to see who's available in the 2nd round/late 1st.

So this is going to be the 3rd time Tyrod gets replaced by a rookie QB...I'm starting to sense a pattern.
