78thealltimegreat Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 The defensive signings seem to give us a BPA approach now and a certain Colorado receiver Mr Shenault was bumped into the second or third because of surgery...kinda wonder if that wasn’t the guy Beane wanted all along 1
qwksilver Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 Think RB if no else is signed in FA. Prefer this than Gordon. Big tall WR in the 3rd.
whatdrought Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 Seeing as where the value to need ratio is on WR now, I would imaging there's better options in the 3rd than in the second. 2
SCBills Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 If we don’t sign a vet RB, I have to think WR/RB or RB/WR for Rounds 2 & 3. Maybe OL in the 4th. I don’t even know if Rounds 5-7 make the roster at this point.
Mat68 Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 I think the draft is setup to be offensive. There are 20 skill players that are in play in rd 2. Day 2 they can easily add some peices.

Beasley , Brown and Diggs. Even the lesserror guys in MacKenzie and Ray Ray. They like speed and seperation with a WR. Shenault is terrible at both of those things . He's not on our radar. The guys who fit Jeudy, Ruggs and Aiyuk 1
BuffaloRebound Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 I think we sign a vet RB. We need to get younger at WR and D-Line. Those would be my guesses for early draft picks. McDermott also loves him some DB’s.
DJB Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 With all the wholes we've filled P and K are our biggest needs. 1 1
Kangaxx Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 DB or Edge in the 2nd. I'd try to get Claypool in the third. 3
gonzo1105 Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 I still think OLB is a spot they can take. If they want a more explosive player I could see a guy supplanting Klein. Duggar would make sense. CB,WR, RB and DE would be other positions
IgotBILLStopay Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 CB ( Diggs, Dantzler or Fulton), RB (Edwards-Helier or Moss) Tight End (cole Kmet) or DL (say a Terrell Lewis, Blacklock or Madubuike) probably more likely. But WR certainly possible since we don’t have to draft for need. If a WR with a much higher grade falls, Beane will be all over him. 2

Claypool might slip into the 2nd cause he's a freak talent. I'd like him or in the 3rd I'd really like Gandy-Golden. I think he's a stud and will be a solid pro.

Tesla03 Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 Shenault as WR4 and we will have a top 5 WR group in the league, and best for the team since the 90's 1
FarrellsFinest Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 (edited) We are truly in a good position to grab best available. That prevents teams from trading up in front of you to take a player they know you want. We can go any direction! I hope we go all offense for 2-4. Edited March 18, 2020 by FarrellsFinest I said ***** and it was blocked out like a bad word. 1
NeverOutNick Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 Hope we go WR 2nd round. Love me some Mims if he falls that far
