HopsGuy Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 My roommate freshman year in college had a girlfriend with a bad name: Anita Butt. She didn't need anything. She had enough for a couple of chicks.

mary owen Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 I worked with a mech engineer named Richard Johnson. I wonder if his parents knew he'd still be getting goofed on at age 61. We all called him "Dick Dick". That dude had some thick (4)skin.
Dennis in NC Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 A little bit more on what the Special K means: ketamine (Ketamine Hydrochloride Special K, K) Ketamine is a short-acting general anaesthetic that has hallucinogenic and painkilling qualities that seem to affect people in very differently ways. How thoughtful to name your child after a drug... Well, Mary Jane is a nice name, but Special K?

Bob in SC Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 Sometimes kids can overcome their bad names and at least make a football squad... http://utsports.collegesports.com/sports/m...r_jimbob00.html 306992 True, Fair Hooker did OK. Good thing he wasn't a girl. She'd have had a hard time making a living.
Zamboni Man Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 I used to work with a girl who named her daughter SomerStar. That's literally how she spelled it.
mcjeff215 Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 I always get a kick out of the 14 year old mothers that name their children things like "Summer Lovely Lily" and "Change Wind Beauty." Names that a 14 year old would think beautiful, but in reality, they sound like... well... names a 14 year old mother would give her children.

Ralonzo Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 I used to work with a girl who named her daughter SomerStar. That's literally how she spelled it. 307118 As the urban legend joke goes, a substitute professor at a city college was circulating an attendance sheet, asking students to sign in to verify attendance. Upon receiveing the sheet he looks down the list of names and grimaces. He addresses the class: "Ok, who is the wiseguy?" The students are puzzled. He asks again. "Who signed their name as _______ Jones?" There is a slight pause, and a large black woman rockets up from her chair, slams her hand on the desk and yells: "It's pronounced SHI-THEED!" Fill in the blank yourself
