Highly doubt Williams makes the roster as a 4th or 5th WR due to his lack of special teams. But he's not worth talking about now anyway.

To be fair that list was inaccurate.

Terrible assumption. Foster is gonna be gone.  McKenzie wasnt offered a deal. Williams is not gonna get cut for Nick Easley or Ray Ray McCloud. Here is what its gonna look like:

Diggs

Brown
Beas

McKenzie

Roberts

Williams

If Bills fans thought John Brown looked good as a #1 WR, wait until they see him as a #2...

I don't know. I dont think he fits Josh's skill set. Diggs is just a better version of John Brown. I would of liked a bigger guy that can go over middle. Diggs is a good deep threat but Josh isn't the best deep ball thrower. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Diggs does go between the numbers too.  He does everything.

My biggest concern is that he’s probably gonna wear #14....

Are you kidding? Now I can finally get the nameplate changed for my kid on his Watkins jersey. ??

Yes. And, also... josh, no excuses. You are who you are by year 3. Are you the Bills franchise QB?

I hope so. Love that kid

Heard a stat today that when Cooper is off the field Dak's percentage is 54-58% with him it's 68%.  It's critical to give a young QB viable WR's.  I believe Allen now has the legitimate help he needs and will show huge improvement.

Wonder if we still draft a WR  in this draft?

I’d probably add one more but the pressure is off. They needed a 1 which is the hard one to add. They did that. I’m thinking:

Diggs

Smoke

Beasley

________
Foster

Duke

(Roberts KR/PR)

Nice Group!! Maybe you see a “McKenzie type” in the mid rounds (or any quality WR that slips)

I hate how much we gave up. Literally hate it.

The team is now far past the point where 7 or more drafted rookies can be incorporated into the active and practice rosters next season... I thought that the Bills would be using extra picks to move around in the draft... but they used them to get a legitimate established offensive star.  I'm OK with that.

my concern is about how Diggs  reacts if the offense isnt to his liking here either, i expect us to be better but we haven't lit the world on fire either.

Wow!!!!! I like this if Josh gets his deep ball right. The current top three are not big, but get Brown or Diggs over the top and they can burn.

I don’t get it.  Diggs is very similar to Brown.  In one of the best drafts for WRs, they trade their 1st round pick for a copy of what they had?

I suppose signing Devin Funchess to a huge contract is next, to get the big WR.

if this wasnt McBeane i would be pissed. There is a million WRs in this draft and we trade all that for a guy who is pretty good and they wanted more than a first is ridiculous.

he’s only “pretty good?” ?

They had 9 picks prior to the trade. They now have a proven 26 year old commodity on a good contract in Diggs (minus their #1 which was possibly going for the 4th or 5th best WR prospect in this class at 22) and still have 7 picks to either use, move up and down the board, or spin off for future picks. The #4 next year may be recouped in the form of a comp pick(s) or via a trade(s) of players slated for cuts like last year.

Diggs + 7 picks in 2020 > 9 picks in 2020

This take is an overreaction on your part, IMO.

i wouldn't consider him great, so that makes him pretty good. Hopefully McDermott can get more out of him and buy in.

He’s been elite since high school bro. There are posts in this very thread citing metrics that suggest he was a top 5 WR last year, even with the turbulence with Cousins and the coaching staff early in the year. Do some homework.

Hope you're right , he better check his attitude, we shall see.

It is unbelievable that Houston didn't even get a 1st round pick for Hopkins and they had to take on Johnson's ridiculous contract on top of it.
