I would of liked a bigger guy that can go over middle. Diggs is a good deep threat but Josh isn't the best deep ball thrower. Hopefully I'm wrong. He is one of the best contested catch receivers in the nfl...not sure what more you want 1

Don’t sweat the picks until you see who else we sign.  never understood fans being so uptight over draft picks beyond the 4th round.  its like fans would rather have some bum CB that won't even be on the roster in 3 years over a #1WR 2 1

whatdrought Posted March 17, 2020 Posted March 17, 2020 My only hesitation is the attitude, but I’ll risk his attitude over the risk of a high draft pick not being able to play.

Too much WR talent available this year to give up such a haul. Zero chance Houston turned down that offer in favor of what they got from Arizona.  It’s twice the price.

Agree but cannot see Texans trading to Bills after meeting them in playoffs. Hopkins must have been a real pain to front office meaning if Bills did get him via 3rd party Bills might need to renegotiate contract.  29 minutes ago, Hapless Bills Fan said: I thought Diggs was throwing a hissy because he wants a new contract with more (bigger) money?  25 minutes ago, JoeF said: He's got 4 years at $2 million less per than Hopkins 3 years. He will love Josh. This is a good deal. Imagine he and Brown on the outside and Cole roaming the underneath. The whole scope just changed.  24 minutes ago, buffalobillswin said: Doesn't he get mad when the Balls don't come his way? Wasn't he yelling at his QB last year too on the sideline?  WRs like lots of catches to increase exposure, push up next contract value and help get endorsements. I cannot see him being happy here but I hoped the front office communicated with him with permission of Vikings. I do wonder if has potential to make running plays like Hopkins for I think WR runs will be part of offense playbook and they did not keep McK.   22 minutes ago, LEBills said: He is an amazinggg talent. What an upgrade to our receiving unit! And it is exciting to see the start of all of our chips being pushed in. 2020 should be a very good year.  He has been a bit of a problem child in Minnesota which is worrying. I expect we will add money onto his current contract and that should make him a lot happier.  He has been hinting that he wanted to go to New England (why I do not know since they rarely pay market value) and if he is not happy he may dog it and try to be cut. I also see him trying to renegotiate contract to get more guarantees or first year money which helps him if cut.  I could see him being unhappy for Josh does not throw ball to him enough.   Games Receiving Rushing Total Yds    Year Age Tm Pos No. G GS Tgt Rec Yds Y/R TD 1D Lng R/G Y/G Ctch% Y/Tgt Rush Yds TD 1D Lng Y/A Y/G A/G Touch Y/Tch YScm RRTD Fmb AV Career    70 63 534 365 4623 12.7 30 210 75 5.2 66.0 68.4% 8.7 29 159 0 9 27 5.5 2.3 0.4 394 12.1 4782 30 6 44 2015 22 MIN WR 14 13 9 84 52 720 13.8 4 30 40 4.0 55.4 61.9% 8.6 3 13 0 1 10 4.3 1.0 0.2 55 13.3 733 4 2 8 2016 23 MIN WR 14 13 11 112 84 903 10.8 3 48 46 6.5 69.5 75.0% 8.1 3 10 0 1 12 3.3 0.8 0.2 87 10.5 913 3 0 7 2017 24 MIN WR 14 14 14 95 64 849 13.3 8 42 59 4.6 60.6 67.4% 8.9 8 13 0 1 9 1.6 0.9 0.6 72 12.0 862 8 0 9 2018 25 MIN WR 14 15 14 149 102 1021 10.0 9 49 75 6.8 68.1 68.5% 6.9 10 62 0 3 20 6.2 4.1 0.7 112 9.7 1083 9 0 8 2019 26 MIN WR 14 15 15 94 63 1130 17.9 6 41 66 4.2 75.3 67.0% 12.0 5 61 0 3 27 12.2 4.1 0.3 68 17.5 1191 6 4 12    Games Receiving Rushing Total Yds    Year Age Tm Pos No. G GS Tgt Rec Yds Y/R TD 1D Lng R/G Y/G Ctch% Y/Tgt Rush Yds TD 1D Lng Y/A Y/G A/G Touch Y/Tch YScm RRTD Fmb AV Career    110 110 1048 632 8602 13.6 54 457 76 5.7 78.2 60.3% 8.2 3 11 0 2 12 3.7 0.1 0.0 635 13.6 8613 54 7 68 2013 21 HOU WR 10 16 16 91 52 802 15.4 2 38 66 3.3 50.1 57.1% 8.8         52 15.4 802 2 1 5 2014 22 HOU WR 10 16 16 127 76 1210 15.9 6 57 76 4.8 75.6 59.8% 9.5         76 15.9 1210 6 2 10 2015* 23 HOU WR 10 16 16 192 111 1521 13.7 11 83 61 6.9 95.1 57.8% 7.9         111 13.7 1521 11 1 11 2016 24 HOU WR 10 16 16 151 78 954 12.2 4 57 51 4.9 59.6 51.7% 6.3         78 12.2 954 4 0 7 2017*+ 25 HOU WR 10 15 15 174 96 1378 14.4 13 69 72 6.4 91.9 55.2% 7.9         96 14.4 1378 13 1 11 2018*+ 26 HOU WR 10 16 16 163 115 1572 13.7 11 85 49 7.2 98.3 70.6% 9.6 1 -7 0 0 -7 -7.0 -0.4 0.1 116 13.5 1565 11 2 13 2019*+ 27 HOU WR 10 15 15 150 104 1165 11.2 7 68 43 6.9 77.7 69.3% 7.8 2 18 0 2 12 9.0 1.2 0.1 106 11.2 1183 7 0 11   Stefon Diggs signed a 5 year, $72,000,000 contract with the Minnesota Vikings, including a $15,000,000 signing bonus, $40,007,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $14,400,000. babulator Posted March 17, 2020 Posted March 17, 2020 (edited) After 21 pages of reflection I'm feeling pretty stoked. I think the deep draft, my desire for Ruggs, the skewed Hopkins deal, and late hour was clouding my judgement. I guess I was also initially concerned with the cost, and his rumored attitude. Glad you guys have cleared that up for me. His contract, especially in comparison to Coopers deal really sets this straight. Gotta love a guy with his skill set and ability to make contested catches . Go Bills!
