Deepest wr draft and you trade a ton of picks for a number 2. Sound move. This screams ownership wanting a “big” name. You build through the draft.

Not sure you quite understand how many picks we have/had...most those picks weren’t making this team...you are looking at quantity over quality

Here’s the difference

Kudos....This is the major point. Cost controlled Pro Bowler in his prime who is making not much more than Cole or John Brown. So for the Cost of Diggs + John Brown combined we are getting what people are paying for 1 Elite WR.  Fantastic cap management. Now its time to buy us a pass rush!!!

‘At 22 they would be picking between Higgins and Shenault. Diggs is proven.

Agreed, shenault might still be there in the 2nd. I wasn't excited about Higgins at 22. And diggs is alot better than any FA options.

Haha— love the edit to the thread title. Framing it as Bodine and Teller and a 1st for Diggs really puts things in perspective!

 Helps give people some perspective.

not sure you can call that a fact

I never said it was a fact.  But it's probably true.  I wouldn't trade a guy to a conference rival unless I was getting a huge haul, which they didn't.

Bills still have a good amount of draft picks this year.

2nd (#54j

3rd (#86)

4th (#118)

5th (not sure which 5th they kept?)

6th (not sure which 6th they traded?)

6th

7th (from Vikings)
