TakeYouToTasker Posted March 17, 2020 Posted March 17, 2020 Love this signing. Im hoping this allows them to kick Edmunds outside where I believe he’d be a generational talent. 1
billsfan89 Posted March 17, 2020 Posted March 17, 2020 Nice little signing by McD, replaces Lorax at OLB and fills a potential hole at OLB/MLB. Love what they are doing this off-season for the most part.
njbuff Posted March 17, 2020 Posted March 17, 2020 Am I the only who believes that Edmunds could be a monster if he was used as an edge rusher more? 1

I'm thinking it's a good chance now that Edmunds has some age and experience he will start to be moved around a lot more this year. 1

Maybe. But probably not, IMO. Edmunds plays the Luke Kuechly role in McD's scheme and I don't ever remember him moving Kuechly around like that for the Panthers. I think Sean prioritizes simplicity and repeatability more than confusing the other team (as well as his own)...
HOUSE Posted March 17, 2020 Posted March 17, 2020 I told you the Bills would sign him... Not really but I thought I would take some credit along with the rest of the board 1

The 1st year Edmunds was learning, last year (especially the 2nd half of the season) he was getting some rope. I don't think the scheme will change much but I expect more "options" with Edmunds this year. 2

ghostwriter Posted March 17, 2020 Posted March 17, 2020 No disrespect to Lorenzo Alexander but I believe AJ Klein is an upgrade at this point. Should help us against the New England Patriots and Tennessee Titans of the league. He should be a good starter for us. Could probably play inside if Edmunds got injured. Good run stuffer, decent athleticism to the point where I don’t think he’d be a huge liability in coverage. Solid signing. 1
KD in CA Posted March 17, 2020 Posted March 17, 2020 I friggin love all these front 7 signings. Keep 'em coming. 1

Locomark Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 I didn't know Klein plays all 3 LB slots. They really love their position flexibility don't they?
