One of our draft picks this year.

Oh, so we haven't replaced him. Unless you consider ray ray his replacement. ?

Not sure I like this. He has a purpose on the team.

I’m guessing a special purpose...

Not sure how good Isaiah is.
he was used so much as a gimmick. But they did run those very well regardless of which way they went with the play.
as a WR i really have no opinion based on when and where he was used. afterthought mostly it seemed.
Can always improve the position, and not just him. Foster too.

I think he was a lousy receiver. He caught only the easiest balls, and he didn't open easily.

And he wasn't so explosive that he could have an impact on screens, rubs, etc.

He did his job as well as he could, but he had plenty of opportunity to be an impact player and couldn't do it.  He wasn't the future.

No lock he won't be back. Be great if we can upgrade.

Okay, given how last year went in terms of playing time for McKenzie and Foster, how does it make sense to sign Foster but not McKenzie? What changed? Someone explain this to me.

Foster can catch.

Ball security....he had 0 fumbles last year but has 8 career in 68 total touches.  Not a McDermott kind of guy with that ratio.

Good for the gimmick sweep push pass but not much else.

Exactly, he was a fast one trick pony. Not going to be a huge loss. Nor should Foster stay on this roster either. If we don't sign a decent wr we will be compelled to draft 2 guys in April.
