Im laughing at the wording “affect” the quarterback- Not sacks or hurries necessarily but maybe like a stiff breeze or a bad smell.

It appears the FO doesn’t know what to do and started treading water while other teams stepped up their game in the wake of virus imposed restrictions. I truly hope I’m wrong!

Murphys deal was $7.5m a year for 3 years..

There’s no room here for logic! It’s PANIC TIME!!

Bummed about this too.

But didn’t you anticipate this would happen?  I was thinking Shaq would get around $12M which is what he can earn Miami.  I didn’t see the team spending that much on him, so I knew he was gone and was ok with it.

Not bummed by any means

Wasn't worried when Mario Williams went to Miami... Still don't care about who goes to Miami.

Congrats Shaq you went to a team that is going nowhere.

Still mad at Thurman for signing there tho

Seriously? A little over 3 hours into the 'legal tampering' window and you're depressed?? Don't you have an election to rig or something?

The only thing I rigged was Craft’s 1st SB ring , the election was Ukraine NOT me !!!!

I would've been very happy retaining him for ~$8m/yr.  IMO, $10m is not out of line for someone of his caliber.  Somewhat surprised someone didn't offer more.

I'm sure our coaching staff knows exactly how to neutralize him.

Yeah give him $10m per year ;)

I think he disappears in the Florida heat.

They could have easily matched this but didn't see the value in it.

Shaq played well because McDermott is one of the leagues best defensive coaches.  Shaq, IMO,  will not be heard of much with the Phins.

Love Shaq but unfortunately I agree.
