Big Turk Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 I think it would be a nice addition to the backfield...probably wouldn't cost much coming off a down year...
DJB Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 Hes great pass catching but he runs slow and has looked bad the past couple of years. I'd pass and hope we can do much better in free agency or draft
WMDman Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 I’d like to get younger at the position personally, so I’d pass 2
Big Turk Posted March 13, 2020 Author Posted March 13, 2020 Just now, DJB said: Hes great pass catching but he runs slow and has looked bad the past couple of years. YoloinOhio Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 He will probably end up back with the Hoodie 1
DCOrange Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 If we're looking to add a vet to the RB room like we had in Gore last year, Dion makes a lot of sense. Familiar with Daboll (I think they were both in NE at the same time?) and would give us the 3rd down back we need and allow us to focus on just getting a good RB of any type.
Acattack15 Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 Need to get younger at position. Cam Akers.... go get him in draft 2
Andrew Son Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 1 minute ago, Acattack15 said: Need to get younger at position. Cam Akers.... go get him in draft Younger than what? All we have is Singletary. Add Lewis as the vet in the room and then another youngster.
OldTimer1960 Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 I wouldn’t overlook TJ Yeldon who is already on the team. I think Yeldon lost playing time to Gore due to Gore’s career status and leadership. I think Yeldon has proven to be a capable pass catcher out of the backfield in the NFL. 5
NewEra Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 If they plan on using Yeldon this year..::I’d rather cut him and sign lewis 1
Dkollidas Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 I don’t think it would hurt as long as they draft one as well.
Doc Brown Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 Jordan Howard makes the most sense. Getting him at a reasonable deal would be a steal. 1
947 Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 He was good 3 years ago, and RBs have the shelf life of bananas.
billsbackto81 Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 Sign Melvin Gordon (he'll be much cheaper than Henry) to go with Motor. Now you have phyicality and elusiveness. Keep Yeldon as a 3rd down option and insurance against injury. Gordon Singletary Yeldon....... Not too shabby...
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 Right now, I think he should stand way over there until we know he has no Covid cooties.
1997WS6 Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 Nah, I'd rather draft one. I wouldn't be interested in most of the free agents either, but Jordan Howard might be a fit.
Just Joshin' Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 He has started the decline and is one dimensional. Keep Yeldon for 1 more year and draft a back. We saw what happened last year with an older (ok really older) back.
