I thought we all agreed it was at least a safety. The naysayers will say it happens every game but ask them for proof!

Apparently, by the way the rule is written it’s a safety. It’s an illegal forward pass in the end zone.

That was the best sounding resolution/argument I read, way back when from dozens of sources.

 

Two points and the ball makes a HUGE difference there. But it’s water under the bridge, just a stepping stone to future success.
