YoloinOhio Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 Whispers of this around Super bowl time but looks to be happening. 2 1 1
DJB Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 Dont worry. I'm sure the media will say Lamar doesn't need an oline to repeat as MVP.
thebandit27 Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 And so goes one of the finest guards I’ve ever seen play the game. 10 1

whatdrought Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 Giant regression potential for the Poe Birds. 2 1

BillsFan17 Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 Massive hit to their line, but they are a very good drafting organization. Obviously Yanda will have immense shoes to fill, but again, the Ravens draft well... Will be worth keeping an eye on how they patch that hole.

BidsJr Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 He was also a great Hawkeye. Tristan Wirfs will carry on the legacy well. 1
QCity Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 A huge blow for the Birds, not going to replace him.

When the Ravens lost their center Matt Skura and rookie Mekari took his place, the OL did surprisingly well. A couple of our Ravens visitors expressed that Yanda was helping Mekari with the protection calls and that's one reason why they did so well. 18 minutes ago, BillsFan17 said: Massive hit to their line, but they are a very good drafting organization. If they get Skura back from his knee injury, they may try to slide Mekari over? He played well for them at center.

Skura was playing some of his absolute best football before the injury in week 12. However, like you mentioned Mekari filled in extremely well. Considering they have some legit talent all along the line, losing Yanda will hurt, but they may be able to plug the hole with what they already have on the roster. They only have around 30 million in cap space if I'm not mistaken. Idk how Yanda's retirement factors into that figure...

They can ask him to repay the 2020 amortized portion of his signing bonus which is another $4M 1
Happy Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 Big loss, but the Ravens seem to do well with player personnel acquisitions, as well as John Harbaugh plugging them in. I wouldn't be too concerned if I was a Ravens fan.
eball Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 Love seeing a conference rival get weaker. Great player.

Bronxbomber21 Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 Buffalo should've moved up for Yanda instead of drafting Edwards. But it was a good draft getting Lynch & Poz even though we didn't keep ether
