Buffalo_Stampede Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 He's making an NFL comeback this year, or attempting to. His skillset fits what we're looking for and he'll be cheap. Would you be opposed to a workout to see where he's at physically? Obviously need to get younger at WR also but he could offer some experienced depth. 1
H2o Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 A 32 year old, often injured WR who had lost a step before all of the injuries? No thanks.
JPP Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 Workout doesnt hurt at all....doubt the Bills will do anything more than that...... 4
DCOrange Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 No harm in giving anybody a workout. Skeptical he'd be worth a roster spot though. 2
Mr. WEO Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 Oh come on....couldn't you at least have bumped one of the other Dez Bryant threads for this? 1
ProcessYaDigg Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 Without question. Now if you asked would we sign him, i'd have a different response for you. But just bringing him in for a workout, why not. We don't lose anything by taking a look and seeing where his game is at
Alphadawg7 Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 Why are people against workouts? Lol. Yes let him workout. If he doesn’t have it, not harm caused. If he shows something of value, he can come in and compete for a roster spot. And he will either earn one through his performance or be cut. No risk at all. What’s he gonna do, potentially take a camp bodies spot in camp? Big deal. He probably wouldn’t make the team, but it’s not gonna hurt to check under the hood and see if he’s got something to add 2
TOboy Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 Seems far more likely, if he's NFL ready, that the Cowboys will sign him. He's working out across the street from their facility, and Jerry has already come and said he's open to a Dez return.
NewEra Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 (edited) there aren’t too many (only Landry Jones and Peterman come to mind), players that I’d be against giving a workout to. It’s a workout. edit: and Jarvis Landry. I hate him Edited March 5, 2020 by NewEra
Seasons1992 Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 He can't be any slower than Fats Benjamin...........
4_kidd_4 Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 Sure, kick the tires. Then roll ‘em down the old “mud hill” on the back side of the stadium. 1
