WideRightRevenge Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/leonard-fournette-purges-instagram-to-make-a-point-about-the-jaguars/ar-BB10K1Wa Seems like wants out of Jacksonville ... his fight on the sidelines in Buffalo aside .. I think he'd be a good compliment (pounder) to Singletary's style for a (4th thru 7th rounder) exchange. Set to make $4.2 Million this year and 5th year option available.
AlCowlingsTaxiService Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 Back and forth on this one .... figuring he’s gonna have a short career with the pounding he takes, but as a compliment I think he’d hold up for a couple seasons. Prefer a pick in the 5th or later, but I grudgingly say yes - championship windows don’t stay open indefinitely in the vast majority of cases. 1
babulator Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 It would be silly to say no for a 5th. That being said, theyre not letting him go for a 5th. 4
BruceVilanch Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 I think it would take a 3rd to get him, but for the purposes of your poll I put yes. He would be a great big back to compliment motor.
DCOrange Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 It'd be fine because once you acquire him, you can always cut him if you ever need the cap space. Having said that, he's the 6th highest paid RB in the league and I think Singletary is better than him. I would rather be seeking a WR or pass rusher in a trade. 1
aristocrat Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 jags would be dumb to move him now. but i'd take him. we need a second back as bad as the jags do.
Pete Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 for a 4th sure. I'd rather sign Henry, or draft one of top 3 RBs 2
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 (edited) I would because it’s a steal. Not sure how he fits in to the team, but low risk high reward. Edited March 5, 2020 by Over 29 years of fanhood 1
Troll Toll Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 He has been a major disappointment and given the contract I say no to the trade.
Chicken Boo Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 For a 4th, absolutely. When healthy, he's one of the best backs in football. 2
Rc2catch Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 For being a big guy he plays kinda soft and is often injured even if he plays through it. But at such a low cost as asked in this thread sure, most of those low picks are going to have a real struggle to even make this team.
Antonio Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 Sure, a 5th I´ll be ok with, but I still draft a RB for the long run. I think having 3 capable RBs is necessary.
BigBuff423 Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 The simple answer is yes....the true answer is, like anything else in life or the NFL, it depends on the price. Fournette's year was almost a tale of two years. He started out much like the way he finished the year before, but much of his last year was very good albeit strangely missing TDs. If you get that version of Fournette, then he's worth a 4th Round pick - otherwise, based on value of his position, the Bills would be overpaying for his services.

Captain Hindsight Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 For a 4th I'm faxing it 12 different times to make sure the league gets it in time I'm not a huge Fornette fan, but for a 4th that is a steal. Almost as lopsided a deal as Kiko for McCoy 1
Just Joshin' Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 Better than any 4th round pick so yes make the deal. Do not think a 4th will do it.

mushypeaches Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 Hard pass. Why give up assets and cap $ for a RB whose best days are behind him already, when you can draft a guy with a similar round pick
Malazan Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 No..why are people obsessed with acquiring players who are trending downwards and aging at positions where aging catches up to them quickly... 2
BritBill Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 25 years old. Decent numbers last year. His style would be a perfect compliment to Motor. For a 5th-7th I'd (probably) carry him to Buffalo.
