aristocrat Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 Well my gf is at a hospital working in orangeburg sc. she has a potential corona patient but won’t test cause she doesn’t fit criteria. Gf thinks it’s pneumonia. So I’m assuming I’ll get it when she comes home Wednesday. I’ll let you guys know. 1 1

Gugny Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 New York state casinos still not mandated to close.

NYC closed all bars/restaurants (they can still deliver). Ohio closed all bars. Schools closing around the country. Large events/gatherings being banned. Tells you how serious this is that MGM is voluntarily walking away from millions and millions of dollars. Hopefully all these closing will flatten the curve. Edited March 16, 2020 by BillsFan4 1
John in Jax Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 (edited) OK, when Vegas shuts down their casinos, it's about as close to the apocalypse as it can get. Not joking. Lived there for a bit in the 90s. The greed of the casino owners is unparalleled. Edited March 16, 2020 by John in Jax 1

Hopefully your gf still has masks and gowns available and can employ infection control procedures so won't become ill. But you might want to suggest she strip just inside the door and put her clothes in a bag to wash separately, then take a shower - purely for infection control purposes of course ? As a practical matter, if we're going to get on top of this, this "no tests" ***** has got to stop NOW. Taiwan and Singapore now test everyone with fever.
Halloween Land Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 It's hard not to worry or panic about this virus. But we must keep our faith strong and trust the Lord. Praying is important! 1
