Take the Covid19 discussion to one of the several appropriate threads dedicated to it.

I'm about to spend some time I could put to better use cleaning up the thread.

If you can't restrain yourself I will restrain you.

The key to a great running attack starts up front with blocking.  Combined with a frightening pass attack, which we seem to be building.  Gurley is a shadow of his former self.

I like that beast from Boston College,  AJ Dillon.  Runs over, through, and around anything in his path.  247 lbs.  4.53 at the combine.  Super strong, superb athlete.

TC - I just viewed some Dillon highlight reel.

Boy-o-boy.....wouldn't mind some of that. I didn't see any receiving. Is he capable? Would you know?

It's no worse than D Henry .

He actually  showed good hands at the combine.

I don't know if he can catch.  I imagine he can be taught.

Ya it’s not like he was gonna get a mega deal and expect to be a lead back he would Have been sharing touches and could have had him on a “pitch count”

you didn't think we were in for Gurley, did you? I can see Freeman or Gordon  but I don't think Beane even considered Gurley

I don't want to be in on ANY RB.  Never get the Value

I think Freeman on 1 year would be ok...good goalline and short yardage back

Spitballing here.....

How would people like Bills trading 54th (2020 2nd) the 2nd and 3rd in 2021 for Yannick Ngakoue

Basing that compensation package on

Dee Ford was traded for a 2nd

Frank Clark traded for a 1st and 2nd.

I think Yannick logically falls somewhere in the middle there.

Maybe a 2nd round pick in 2021, but that's about it.

Plus the Bills will have to give him the massive contract he wants.

I don't think it would happen.

I have to wonder if UFA slowed down because 90% of the deals reported are not official yet because of the virus.  I would imagine teams are waiting to see and make sure these deals are official before moving on.

I think he is better than Dee Ford.  So I think it would take more than a 2nd next year.  Though if they are not sold on Minshew and want to start getting capital in 2021 draft to go get Lawrence or one of the top QBs in 2021 might be able to do it all with next year picks.

Do you know if the franchise tag can be removed from a player at all?

Yes they can, Carolina did it to Josh Norman

I think this might happen with Yannick.

Could do that, they didn't sign a lot of UFAs yet that I can see.  So they know by removing they would get a 3rd next year, so maybe that is why a 2nd next year would be enough to get it done.  Not sure it would be a trade that would happen before the draft
