I would love to trade for Allen Robinson but he is coming off a very good season (with a ***** QB) and while the Bears are up against the cap I think they can find cuts elsewhere. Jones and Tate are men, outside of the slim chance that Diggs is on the block I don't see where a WR via trade makes sense. 

 

But sometimes trades come out of nowhere so you never know.

...he'd NEVER come back here anyway...….he wanted out ASAP and with the late Eugene Parker as his agent, he got his wish.....besides he just turned 38.....

Not to mention, the only thing that hasn't changed since then is our logo. New owners, new fo, new coaches, new roster, etc. Holding a past staff's unwillingness to pay against a current one would be pretty silly.

Might be better off trading up for one of the top 3 draftees.  OBJ wouldn't come any cheaper.

Not true.  He wanted more money and he wasn't wrong for believing he should get more.  He was a stud.

Nope.

 

He got paid RT money. They moved him to LT and he wanted a new contract.

 

He reported and played in every game save for the first, which the team chose to hold him out of. He then said he’d hold out again without a new deal. They traded him.

 

All of the above is well-documented.

That was Russ Brandon and John Murphy propaganda. He wanted to be paid after a position change. Simple as that.  The Bills didnt want to pay the going rate and dealt a future hall of fame LT just entering his prime for a very late 1st rd pick.  It was a horrible trade by a "GM" that didnt know what the hell he was doing.

I don’t know. 
 

He is the typical 27 year old RB as he gets banged up a lot.

 

Getting a much lesser workload would sure as heck benefit Gordon’s career by coming here, but he is probably going to want too much money.

...but he held out and did not report....sure he should have been PO'ed that Dockery and Walker were signed for much more (future wasted money)......but holding out was the right answer?....guess we'll never know.....

I'd rather add a rookie and not pay Gordon. I think you can get a good complementary back day 2 or 3. Fella like Dobbins may slip to the third round, for example.

Agree 100%. Stay far far away from high priced RBs in free agency. Don’t care who it is. You can find serviceable value and production in the draft.

...allegedly, Gordon turned down $10 mil/yr from Chargers.....reportedly wants $13 mil/yr.........tell me what these stats are worthy of.........
