Erie County puts out request for lawyer to help with @BuffaloBills stadium negotiations http://bizj.us/1q29hh  #BillsMafia #GoBills @TheBillsMafia

not surprising.  They likely are required under some sort of Sunshine Law to put our a Request for Proposal to hire an attorney for something like this.  Good to see they are hiring someone.

All I care (as someone who travels from out of town) is that it stays in the Metro-Buffalo area.  (downtown, Orchard Park, etc.)   I'd like a Dome also :)

Does this in any way mean no new stadium and that their doing a renovation? Thoughts?

No, it means that the Bills and government are going to be negotiating.

I thought the County already said no to a new stadium.

I think they said no to paying for it. Which leaves a lot of room for negotiations in them giving tax breaks, paying for other renovations around the stadium, etc, etc. Also...the whole when does what they 'say' mean anything?

The County isn't typically the big tax break entity.  That would be NYS.
