Drake wants 10 millon a year. I'd rather draft one, no need to tie up money in a back. People bitched about Shady's contract when we had him.

He wants 10 mill a year.  Doesn’t mean he’ll get it.  We have boatloads of money.  We aren’t going to be spending to the cap this year.  I don’t mind paying anyone big money for one year or maybe 2 years.

Depending on who else hits the market I might be ok paying drake  9 mill for 2020.  The window is now

I think it would be hard to say Mims isn’t worth the 22 pick.... 6’3” 210, 4.38 40 yd dash, fastest 3 cone 6.66 (which may be a top 3 even after the cornerbacks), 38” vert.

Nearly 200 career receptions, 3,000 receiving yards, 28 TDs.

This kid is talented. I think the Bills can trade down a few spots and still grab him. But after the combine he may have jumped Shenault, Higgins Jefferson, Reagor IMO...... Mims has always been high for me, I think I may have been the only one really talking him up here months ago. I think we can all agree he doesn’t make it past the first 10 picks in round 2. But I honestly feel if he doesn’t go round 1, he’ll be one of the first picks day 2.

  • Tristan Wirfs, OT, Iowa (COM

I love how they interviewed Wirfs and Ruggs. They would have need some  wacky things to happen move anywhere near far enough to draft them.

To move to 13 we would need to give up our 2nd rounder outright. I just don't think we do that although I would do it for either of those 2 guys since that would be our LT/RT or our WR1 as a given. I cant see either of them lasting past 15.

.

For instance the value chart on draftec says we would need to trade our 4th and two 5ths to move up a lousy 2 spots, so giving away low picks won't yield squat in round 1 without adding an actual player in the deal.

I would love any subset of Higgins/Reagor/Jefferson/Mims  +   Matos / Kinlaw   +  Johnson(CB) / Akers / Helaire / Moss  as our top 3 picks.......  something tells me our 4-6 rounders are all in play this year.

I would also take a flyer on Osborn the transfer from UB if he lasts into 5-6 depending on how the draft falls. That kid can play and tracks balls downfield very well. He was better than Johnson on UB last year and no one gave him credit for it.

I’m not sure that they’d move up to 12, but I could see 15-16

Based on that interview list - sure looks like defense round 1, then WR and RB in rounds 2-3 (possibly trading up from 3 into 2).

Been my prediction for weeks. I hope I'm wrong and we go offence 1, 2, 3

RB1, RB2, doesn’t matter. Point is that this team needs another legitimate backfield threat. I’ve been using the term a RB1b for what they need.

Motor can take 15-20 carries per game; we need a guy that can take another 12-16 and be a threat to score on each of them.

JMO

This is exactly correct. We find that back and we're solid in the backfield.

I have a hard time believing Mims would last past the Giants at 36 due to his College coach being there.

I don’t hate him at 22. Think he’ll be good!

Do you mean Rhule? So it would be Carolina at 38, but yeah I agree it looks like Mims is gonna be an early Day 2 pick at the latest.

Based off that list you could say round 1 WR.... I do see Murray, Gross Matos and Kinlaw... I don’t see is grabbing another rd 1 DT, I don’t see us grabbing Murray, plus I think Kinlaw and Murray go top 20. Gross Matos? Maybe.

I see WR round 1 ( of all those guys they grab the best guy on their list remaining),

round2-  Blacklock maybe slipping or a move up, and Jaylon Johnson who around a top 50-60 guy.

Round 3- RB Moss if still there or Akers.

Round 4 a guy like Throckmorton OG/OT who’s been slipping as of lately. See him going top 100, but who knows the Senior Bowl and the Combine has exposed him a bit.

Round 5, DT and Slot WR.

Im definitely thinking 2 WRs though.

All this depends on FA for sure.

I'm with you, I've been all-aboard the Mims train for months as well. I've been touting him over Shenault on every Laviska thread, mostly met with jeers.

I'm at the point now, where I'd be ok with Mims at 22, but would be move comfortable with a trade down into the later 1st or top of 2nd.

I want Drake in FA.... not sure he gets there though.

Drake just said he's looking for top-5 RB money. I'd like him too, but no way he's even worth top-10 money.

I really hope Moss isn’t the guy we get to compliment Motor.  Give me speed please. Moss is not that
