Saxum Posted February 22, 2020 Posted February 22, 2020 There is an article linked to TBD but it is pay one for Buffalo News. Here is info directly from source. https://www.wivb.com/news/local-news/buffalo/wivb-tv-official-broadcast-station-of-the-buffalo-bills/ Quote WIVB-TV and the Buffalo Bills announced a multi-year agreement to make News 4 Buffalo the “Official Broadcast Station of the Buffalo Bills”, beginning Friday. As part of the agreement, News 4 will broadcast Bills preseason games and has acquired exclusive rights to Bills programming, including The Sean McDermott Show.
PromoTheRobot Posted February 22, 2020 Posted February 22, 2020 Being a CBS affiliate gives them most of the games anyway. I guess this gives added access and content exclusivity.
row_33 Posted February 22, 2020 Posted February 22, 2020 How long had channel 7 carried preseason games? Seemed like yesterday that all the games were on NBC

Albany,n.y. Posted February 22, 2020 Posted February 22, 2020 (edited) The Buffalo News says Ch 10 in Albany is part of the agreement. Games have been on Ch 23, but since it's the same management I'm guessing they'll stay on Ch 23. Edited February 22, 2020 by Albany,n.y.
wagon127 Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 (edited) Does this mean that any potential Bills games broadcast on ESPN or NFL network also get broadcast on Ch.4? Edited February 23, 2020 by wagon127

LB48 Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 Channel 7 (ABC in Buffalo) is drastically cutting costs. They are the lowest (by far) rated news station in the Buffalo market. They just gave up the Children's Hospital Telethon which they sponsored and broadcast for many, many years. The news, weather and sports staff, except for a few polished personalities, look very rag-tag compared to channels 2 and 4. 2 1

4_kidd_4 Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 Hopefully they can get Don Postles on some play by play. 1
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 The probable increase in sports coverage better not interfere with any News 4 stories on where to find Buffalo’s Best bowl of oatmeal! ?? *?
