Adding +2 YPP to the Bills isn't worth the risk. He was a disaster in the punting room. Single-handedly tore that unit apart! Seriously, how much damage can a punter do? Two 15-yarders back in 2017? What am I missing? 3
GreggTX Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 (edited) You don't want a great punter because you don't like his attitude? Seriously? It's not like he's Charles Manson's evil twin or anything. Give him a week or 2 in this environment and he'll be fine. Edited February 18, 2020 by GreggTX
BillsFanMike Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 No thanks. He is headache for every team he has played for.
Paulus Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 I was thinking about making this thread. That said, I'm sure the folks at OBD have considered bringing him in. He is simply too talented not to give another chance to. How have his antics in the XFL been?
Malazan Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 It's generally a good idea to stop doing what brought you success.

I like my punters like my women - bland and unexciting. 2 1

Why so many people state 30 yds avg. is not accurate. Yr. Long. Avg. Inside the 20 2018. 67 yds. 41.9 yds. 34 2019. 60 yds. 45.1 yds. 22 Career. 67 yds. 43.1 yds. 56 Those are decent numbers. Taking on a problem is not worth it. Ehhhhh 7 touchbacks lead the league. and he had the 2nd worst net punting average in the NFL. He was better than the mid-season replacements in 2018 - but i'd bring someone in to compete either a rookie or something. Considering how often we punt id even consider drafting someone.

BmarvB Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 If he's calmed down and can punt in the snow, bring him in.
Buffalo Junction Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 I would love to see Bills fans after our punter gets a 15 yard taunting penalty in a close game. ?. Particularly if we lose. If folks thought penile lawn art was over the line just wait 2
HOUSE Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 We can't be gumming up the roster with punters
BillsFan4 Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 https://medium.com/the-hit-job/what-happened-to-nfl-punter-marquette-king-bddadbe35244 Interesting read on King. The guy is a character, that’s for sure.

wvbillsfan Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 Guy is on the field 6 plays a game. I’d deal with his “character” issues
