T&C Posted February 17, 2020 Posted February 17, 2020 Have never been but man they have some pretty cool shows coming up... The Musical Box, The Association, Ted Nugent, John Waite, etc. One of the places back home I never heard of actually, left in 78 for the most part with vacations back. This could inspire another vacation lol. https://rivieratheatre.org/events/list/
thenorthremembers Posted February 17, 2020 Posted February 17, 2020 Its a decent place for a concert. I went and saw a band called City and Colour there about 7 or 8 years ago. The sound was good, and the view points were nice. On the other hand there isnt a lot of room to get away if you dont like to be pressed up against. That and the non stop chatter from the frat boys at the show was a little annoying. Otherwise pretty good. 1
Buffalo716 Posted February 17, 2020 Posted February 17, 2020 It's a nice theater My parents went there on Valentine's the other day 1
AlCowlingsTaxiService Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 I’ve attended film festivals there, as well as several tribute bands and an all acoustic appearance by Sully (no not jerry Sullivan) from Godsmack. Very well preserved and nice acoustics. The only real negative is the tight seating and aisle arrangement. Definitely built at a time when the average American ate less. 2
MarkyMannn Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 I've done 5-6 tribute bands there. Really nice and good prices. Never disappointed. Plus after show many nice bars around that area 2
