Doc Brown Posted February 15, 2020 Posted February 15, 2020 This could get interesting if it is a stalemate and Jones grows impatient (odds are they'll work it out though). Maybe he trades Dak and uses his salesman skills to convinces Brady to come there for a year banking on the fact that he can find a replacement for Dak when Brady retires. It goes against everything sensible but we're talking about Jerry Jones here. A guy that loves to take gambles and is desperate for a Super Bowl RIGHT NOW before he dies.

They don't pay you next year for last year. Anyway, he wasn't underpaid for 4 years. He was on a standard rookie deal. He was getting what he was slotted to get, as is every drafted rookie. 7 hours ago, Doc Brown said: This could get interesting if it is a stalemate and Jones grows impatient (odds are they'll work it out though). Dak would be a lot better with McDaniels than with Garrett.

Cousins isn't worth what he's getting paid and Dak won't be either. They're very similar to me: good QBs who get paid or will get paid like elite QBs. Take one or take the other; same guy -- great play at times, good play more often, but ultimately, underwhelming team results (playoffs) directly related to what they don't get done.
