Higgins and Reagor would be a jolt in the arm of the offense.

that round 1-3 is amazing.  Albeit somewhat unrealistic, esp. Lewis in the 3rd.  But that would be great.

Sorry my bad, didn't think it would be in there cause it's the NFL draft.

We ask folks to keep them to a dull roar on the main board until after the season is over (eg Superbowl played)

Quote

Like Epenesa in the first, Johnson seems like he be a nice reciever, and taking golden in 6th for jump balls and back shoulder throws.

Lamb would be a dream, and blalock in the 5th would be a steal he's a beast. Moss in the 6th is nice

I am not a college football fan, but would *swoon* for Epenesa in the 1st.  I don't know enough about the OLman, but I think we better go for a WR in the first 2 rounds unless we add a good one in FA.

I think we should try to add a WR or TE, Edge, and OL in FA or by trade though.

I like this draft, although most of my top WR choices were gone by the 2nd round.  But Mims is described as a guy who can get inaccurately thrown balls, Johnson tore up the Big 10, and DL Hamilton is an upgrade on Star.

That's my worst nightmare right there. First two picks on linemen? I'll pass.

My reasoning on it is this:  We have our qb and we need to build around him.  The draft is not very deep but loaded with talent in the first two rounds at OT and DE.  There is not much difference in talent at WR from round one to round three or even four.  It is absolutely loaded at WR and RB.

We have to spend our capital where the capital is at it's highest.

But that's just my opinion.

Another nightmare draft scenario. Yikes.

Instead of repetitively criticizing others mock drafts as nightmares, perhaps you might want to share your own?

You'll have a hard time convincing me that a Rd3 WR is the answer. We need playmakers. We don't need linemen, captial or not.

Johnson and Gandy-Golden are playmakers.  Watch Johnson in his bowl game.  He dominated.

Serious question: Are they playmakers on the level of Ruggs or Jeudy or even Shenault?

That's a good question, I leave that to the Bills' scouts!

That's the thing about the draft, we don't know.

The only place where we can discuss taking CeeDee Lamb at pick 22 (not to mention Reagor in rd THREE).

If a there’s no chance a player will be available when you select, don’t take him.  Jmo

Just a reminder, but I distinctly remember many people saying the same thing about Oliver last year.

Maybe if I wished to invest the time in it, I would. But I don't.

You should give it a shot. It can be fun in your down time.

Likely, yes. But we see players fall off the time. The media had D.K. Metcalf as a round 1 lock, may had him going in the top 10, but we saw him fall out of round 1 entirely. Maybe he has a sub-par combine and his stock drops. We don't know.

Draftnetwork

  • 22 Mekhi Becton, OT Louisville - BPA plus it allows us to maybe kick Ford inside and put Dawkins at RT.
  •   54 Curtis Weaver, EDGE  Boise State - Pass rusher is a need, was successful at Boise

  • 86 Thaddeus Moss, TE LSU - Not a vertical threat but takes Lee Smith off the field and is a big target in the short and intermediate game.

  • 118 Tyler Johnson, WR Minnesota - Big bodied WR in a deep draft, has all the tools just needs to put it all together

  • 137 Justin Strnad, LB Wake Forest - Athletic versatile LB who can play coverage and sideline to sideline in the run game. Makes the cover 2 scheme more dangerous

  • 149 Marlon Davidson, EDGE Auburn - Says "Edge" but projects to a DT in a 4-3 front. At 6'3 297 he will help in the run game and push the pocket inside

  • 168 Lavert Hill, CB Michigan - Former 5 star corner, bit smaller but hes a good zone corner.

  • 181 Tommy Kraemer, IOL Notre Dame - Solid interior OL adds depth in case Spain leaves.

  • 187Antonio Gibson, RB Memphis - Tweener, RB/WR more of a gadget player with decent size. Easily the best player on the field for Memphis this past season
