Quick question....

Is it considered a rescue if the dog is currently not in a shelter?  A few dogs I'm looking at online were either strays brought into a home or fostered who used to be in a shelter.

Semantics.  But most people consider dogs you're looking at as adoptions.

As in my case, I didn't rescue my retired racing greyhounds, I adopted them. They came from a foster home.

Rescue, to me, has some really hard core connotations. Like you were extending bits of a quarter pounder to a dog living under in a ditch.

But in the end, you can call them whatever makes you feel right.

I have pictures to share but I'm not able to get the file sizes down. Am I better off uploading them to a site and linking them?

I had to use an app, can't remember what it's called though.

Did you ever notice how dogs resemble the looks of their owners.

I think if you post a pic, should have the owner too:

I use Photo Compress App.  Get it under 200kb site limit.

Oh... I saw you.  You don't look like: "the most beautiful and sweetest Golden you have ever seen on a commercial, or in person."

A lot of people always say my dog and I look very similar. Here’s a picture of the two of us:

I went into the picture on my phone and clicked on it. It gave me the option at the bottom to resize it

imgur.com is the best for getting pics online quickly and easily, imo.

@Gugny this is a GREAT idea for a thread!! I have to say, I’ve met a lot of people from this board at this point. The dogs are WAY better looking than we are.
