I'm glad to see more interest in Henry. It only makes sense, as while he's not perfect neither is any other RB out there on the market.

Actually, compared to Alexander and James, Henry is a peach. He's not been franchised, for one. A franchise tag means a big bucks contract for a RB. Henry doesn't come with that burden.

Compared to a rookie, Henry looks great as well. Rookies have never played a 16-game season, which is a big issue for rookie RBs. Rookies also don't know much about pro defenses, and that's also an issue. Henry, while not perfect, is more of a known commodity.

I'm glad Donahoe isn't a spaz and realizes there are lots of opportunities for trades, and not just the one with the Cardinals. He's smart for realizing that as situations play out, teams will become more interested.

With TH's lack of blocking or blitz recognition skills it is debatable if Travis knows much about pro defenses either.

Oh you mean it's good that TD didn't send TH to the desert a month ago? That other options might appear the closer we got to draft day......oh my! :D

Precisely.

All the armchair GMs should finally wake up to the realization that TD knows what he's doing and he's exceptional at it.

TH's value will rise further during the draft. We'll get that extra pick.

That will come as a bit of a disappointment to the handful of knee-jerk, immediately gratification, online virtual GMs who said Henry is a moron pedophile who should just be cut from the roster and set free because of his cancerous ways in the locker room.

This is coming from the same fan who thought we'd be "lucky" to get anything for Henry. Judging from the recent articles of the interest in Henry it looks as if you and your "insider" were flat out wrong. His and your player recognition skills seem debatable.

And now the Bucs want back in and the Eagles with their zillion picks are considering the trade too....

He always held all the cards here... Henry will either be traded or he'll ruin his payday if he sits out...

EDIT - Why am I such a spaz and didn't see this post so a mod had to move mine which had darn near the same tittle.... :D Thank you Mod... (blush) next time I'll try to search more than just the first 10 posts....

Notice no follow up panic article from Jerry Sullivan. One side, and let the man go through! Oh and did you notice now Dennis Green is now NOT ruling out a swap of #2 picks? Funny how a little competition changes things!

Maybe the Eagles want to trade us T.O! Bahahahahahahahah!!!!

Fug the swap of 2nd rounders. The value of that is a high 4th round pick and would have been a good deal a few days ago. Now the price has gone up considerably

Contrary to the crap Virginabills spills out- there is alot of interest in Travis.

Seems TD won the poker battle with Green-Meanwhile, Arizona Cardinals coach Dennis Green reiterated in an interview with the Arizona Republic on Wednesday that he considers a trade for Henry to still be a possibility for his team and that he would not rule out the option of flip-flopping second-round picks with the Bills. Arizona has the 44th overall pick; Buffalo has No. 55.

The Eagles and Bucs want him. The longer we wait the sweeter the deal will be. I hope we dont make a trade until draft day and a team panics and overpays

Opinions are like...well, you know. I guess some see value in a guy who averaged almost 1,400 yards and 12 TD's in back-to-back seasons, who is a decent but unspectacular receiver, who plays hurt, is a team player, and has worked-on and improved in the area of fumbling, but who sucks at pass-blocking.

I still don't see that trade of travis for the 1st rounder that you said either. In fact last I check we still have nothing for him.

Yeah, true, but his ability to tell a girl's age within three years after she tells him how old she is, is suspect at best. :D

Maybe, maybe not. Have you SEEN some of the newly-teen girls these days? Frightening how old they look!

Yup, like I said, to trade TH to move up 11 spots in the 2nd round is about equal to a 4th or 5th round pick. That isn't exactly the 1st rounder crap that you have been throwing around is it?

I am referring to the nonsense you spewed that Dennis Green wanted us to trade draft picks for them taking Travis off our hands.

Eagles | Interested in Bills' Henry? - from www.KFFL.com

Thu, 14 Apr 2005 15:56:50 -0700

Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports the Philadelphia Eagles have shown interest in Buffalo Bills RB Travis Henry. The Bills have phoned the Eagles on more than one occasion, but Henry's interest in a new contract could kill a potential trade from coming about. While the Bills are looking for a second-round draft choice, they would probably take a third-round or even a fourth-rounder that could move up to a third-rounder based off of incentives.

Like I have said 3rd, 4th rounder for Travis at most.

Wrong, a swap AND LJ Shelton was what was being thrown around.
