Saxum Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 Given name: Issur Danielovitch Demsky. https://www.yahoo.com/huffpost/kirk-douglas-dead-died-233319697.html https://people.com/movies/kirk-douglas-dead/ Quote “It is with tremendous sadness that my brothers and I announce that Kirk Douglas left us today at the age of 103,” Michael Douglas said in a statement to PEOPLE. “To the world, he was a legend, an actor from the golden age of movies who lived well into his golden years, a humanitarian whose commitment to justice and the causes he believed in set a standard for all of us to aspire to.” I think "Tough Guys" was my favorite film of his.

One of my favorites was "The Vikings" but he had many great ones to choose from.
B-Man Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 RIP: Kirk Douglas, Indomitable Icon of Hollywood’s Golden Age, Dies at 103.
GETTOTHE50 Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 Ned Land has been my all-time favorite movie hero ever since I was a kid. I would pick up anything that had some sort of semblance to a harpoon... a rake, shovel, or hockey stick, and use it to spear pretend giant squids in his honor. RIP Kirk. 1
NoHuddleKelly12 Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 20K leagues under the sea and warwagon were my fav movies of his, RIP
ExiledInIllinois Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 RIP... But, what if? Spartacus had a Piper Cub???
Alphadawg7 Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 103...man, what a life. Funny, I remember loving the movie as a little kid that he was in called "Tough Guys" and he was old as heck then. Never imagined he would still be alive this far along into my life.
eball Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 He was only 103? He looked at least 130... That's a hell of a long, good life.
CowgirlsFan Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 RIP Thank you for your contribution to the entertainment business. My heartfelt condolences to everyone.
Nextmanup Posted February 12, 2020 Posted February 12, 2020 The role I always think of first is as Captain of the USS Nimitz in "The Final Countdown."
