Augie Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 No exotic bets for me (I wouldn’t even understand them!), but my $20 square drew 7 for the Chiefs and 0 for the 49ers. Pretty good numbers with a chance to win $500 at the end of each quarter. I can live with 7-0, 17-10, etc.
stevestojan Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Crap. Didn’t see this thread before I posted the below on the pregame thread: Living in NJ, I can legally gamble from my couch using the DraftKings app. My main bet is SF and the Under. +370. Other Fun bets I’m considering: Heads or Tails on coin toss. (Even odds) Will the person who calls the coin toss call it correctly? (Even odds) Pick Heads/Tails AND the correct team (3:1 odds) Will any QB throw a flea flicker? (Yes is 2.5:1 odds) Will more than two players throw a TD pass (yes is 12:1 odds) Color of the Gatorade dumped on the wining coach (various odds based on Color, purple is the favorite). Will an offensive lineman score a TD? (20:1 odds). The jersey # of the first player to score a TD, over or under 26.5. Will there be any scoring drive that takes LESS time than the singing of the national anthem? No pays 3:1. Will any kick (XP or FG) hit an upright or the crossbar? 14:1 that’s just a few. There are currently 540 things you can bet on on DK. And since I couldn’t give a ***** about who wins this game, I might as well lose some money while watching it and eating more variations of cheese products than a human ever should. Cheetos/Snickers/Doritos/Avocados -- Doritos How many songs will Shakira and Jennifer Lopez perform together -- Over/Under 1.5 -- Over I’m not sure what site allows bets like the over/under on the National anthem since that could clearly be messed with. Draft kings makes up for it by allowing a bet for whether any scoring drive will be longer/shorter than the singing time of the anthem.
Doc Brown Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Garoppalo to win MVP (+275) 49ers to cover at +1 (+100) Mahomes to complete +45 yard pass (-108) K. Juszczyk +10.5 yards receiving (-102) Raheem Mostert to win MVP (+5500) - placed before NFC Championship game
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Many years ago, a coworker ran a $10 a square pool that also paid out for ‘side’ and ‘corner’ touch. Every quarter payout as well; most years it seemed like almost everyone on the board won something.
PromoTheRobot Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 (edited) Perhaps betting on football is not my forte. Edited February 3, 2020 by PromoTheRobot 1
Process Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 (edited) One of the sickest sports betting beats I've ever seen. This is hilarious. Edited February 3, 2020 by Process 1 1

The Chiefs spread the ball around too much, and if Hill, Watkins, Kelce have a big game, I’m thinking the MVP is going to Mahomes. Good call. There was no value on any of the Chiefs players MVP odds because of how balanced they are. On 2/1/2020 at 8:42 AM, EmotionallyUnstable said: I like the action on Gatorade bath color. Best odds are 'clear' but last year hit on blue. Red and yellow/lime are also on the docket. I'll take orange at +450 Good call. I bet orange every year but this one because of the Kobe rumor that the gatorade would be purple. I didn't bet it at all. 23 hours ago, section122 said: Alright here is what i put in today: Safety by either team +900 Darwin Thompson will score a td +600 Jimmy garropolo will score a td +700 Tevin Coleman most rushing yards +1100 Special teams td by either team +600 Both teams score every quarter +650 Took fliers on the highest odds i thought could actually happen. If I can hit on any 2 of these I will make all of my money back with a nice little profit. The safety I bet double on so that one on it's own will take care of that. Niners +1.5 and under 53.5 +250 Had to actually bet on the game. Moneyline was only 270 so I figured I would take the points. Good luck everyone! Just found mine out for 2 of my boards: 9,9 and sf 6 kc 3 come on field goal contest! Lol Everybody Hurts sometimes

Well I went 3-5-1 on my props so no luck there, but I swept the board on my squares pool at work!

I have often seen the person running these grid pools at the end ‘eating’ squares; having to buy them up in order to run it fairly. It’s always interesting to hear the grousing when the individual running the pool wins, only because they had to invest so heavily in it.
