Massive ‘F–k Cuomo and de Blasio’ mural painted on Brooklyn street

September 20, 2020 | 5:55pm

The writing’s on the wall — er, road.

Fed-up New Yorkers painted a massive stretch of Brooklyn blacktop with the yellow message “F–k Cuomo and de Blasio” over the weekend in the vein of Hizzoner’s “Black Lives Matter” art, only for the city to quickly scrub the statement.

The not-so-subtle shout-out to Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Mayor Bill de Blasio went up around 1 a.m. Saturday on North 15th Street between Wythe Avenue and Banker Street in Williamsburg, during the waning hours of an annual block party which this year doubled as a “small business owner protest,” one attendee told The Post.

“A few partygoers got the idea to paint in huge [letters, using] yellow paint with rollers on North 15th, ‘F–k Cuomo and de Blasio,'” the attendee said Sunday, refusing to be identified by name. “The party continued. Everyone took photos.

“It was a big hit. The crowds cheered, even the cops chuckled.”

What, you mean DeBlasio didn't dispatch 3 shifts of 7 NYPD officers and a sergeant to guard the mural?!?

But keep that lock down going! It is for your own good.

87% Of NYC Bars, Restaurants Couldn’t Make August Rent

As New York City tackles with rising business closures and unemployment, a new survey of more than 450 restaurants, bars and nightlife venues found that 87 percent of businesses were unable to pay full rent in August, of which 34 percent were unable to pay any rent at all, Patch Reported.

The results released Monday by the nonprofit NYC Hospitality Alliance arrive ahead of the scheduled reopening of indoor dining at 25% capacity starting Sept. 30. “If positive rates for coronavirus don’t show significant increase, the capacity will be raised to 50% by Nov. 1, according to Eater.” New York City will be the last region in the state, a month behind neighboring New Jersey in reopening indoor dining.

Eater reported that according to the survey, 60 percent of restaurant landlords had not waived any rent, and of the ones who had waived rent, only a third offered more than 50 percent concession on rent. Since the start of the pandemic, more than 1,000 NYC restaurants and bars have permanently closed due to the crisis.

What the hell is going on here !

It is NOT up to the governor of my state to decide whether or not I can have an FDA approved vaccine when it becomes available.

Andrew Cuomo has gone loco on crime and vaccines

New York Post, by Editorial

Original Article

Gov. Cuomo was really losing it last week. Strike one: His absurd vow that New York will do its own testing on any COVID-19 vaccine the feds approve. Strike two: His bizarre threat to cut off funding for the city if he doesn’t like its NYPD reform plans — even as he also hits Mayor de Blasio for not doing enough to stop spiking gun violence. Strike three: His unhinged charge that the homicide of Breonna Taylor was “murder.” Even sane-seeming moves look weird on closer examination: The gov named a committee of 20 to advise him on distributing any vaccine — but it’s stacked with his donors and labor cronies.

Wow, for a city that claims to be broke, they sure spend a lot of money on this type of nonsense (you know, instead of worrying about real issues.)

Never underestimate the stupidity of politicians (especially entrenched liberals).

...Andy of Mayberry and Bumblin' Billie strike again.......for the broke state, here are some quick numbers to digest...

1. 63% of just NYC restaurants are forecasted to close permanently; if each one averaged $1 mil/yr, that's $17.01 billion in lost revenue and those subsequent profits would be taxable; lost sales tax on $17.01 billion is $1.36 billion or "chump change"; don't forget loss of liquor license fees for those that close as well.

2. 15,000 vacant NYC apartments-figure avg rent of $2,500/mo; $450,000 mil in annual revenues whose profits would be taxable; now add in landlord mortgage defaults and the hit the banks take; chump change again: my apologizes but I can't come up with a number relative to lost income taxes for those fleeing the broke state; rest assured Andy's "Gestapo Squad" will tail those who take up residency in Florida; Golisano and Benderson are two of his favorite targets;

3. Suspension of NYS inspection vehicle requirements-tally was 800,000 vehicles or $16.8 million;

4. Spending $450 million to "modernize" I-90/NYS Thruway rest stops where you pull in to pee, grab a coffee and are gone in 15 minutes. Brilliant.

5. $50 million to Roch-Cha-Cha to enhance the "Genesee River Riverwalk", the polluted green stream running through the City.

...I'd give you more but I fear carpal tunnel syndrome.....

...this gross fiscal flop wants $60 bil from the Feds to atone for his gaffes.......Halite Andy...pound it.......you own this mess......

OMG.............even worse.

It's not even open to debate, he must think that liberal voters are pretty stupid.

Don't worry, the New York Times and other mass media outlets will continue to cover it up.

The Emperor has long had no clothes and all the partisans will just continue to slurp like the pathetic lemmings they are.
