DCOrange Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 I know as Buffalo Bills fans, we're trained to hate PFF, BUT draft season often turns into the 10 draft media guys giving us basically identical big boards to one another. PFF and Daniel Jeremiah are two of the few that actually differ from the pack mentality. So with that said, here is PFF's most recent big board: https://www.pff.com/news/draft-2020-nfl-draft-pff-top-100-big-board-update And with so much discussion of the WRs (deservedly so), here's the WR's rankings on the big board (physical measurements based on The Athletic, which Dane Brugler has said is based on what NFL teams expect): 5. CeeDee Lamb - 6'1", 192, 4.48 6. Jerry Jeudy - 6'1", 195, 4.50 15. Laviska Shenault - 6'2", 224, 4.55 20. Henry Ruggs - 5'11, 192, 4.32 23. Tee Higgins - 6'3", 205, 4.47 28. Jalen Reagor - 5'10", 196, 4.46 31. Brandon Aiyuk - 6'0", 203, 4.45 37. Denzel Mims - 6'3", 206 39. Michael Pittman - 6'4", 223, 4.55 40. Jauaun Jennings 44. Tyler Johnson 68. Justin Jefferson - 6'3", 192, 4.53 80. KJ Hill - 6'0", 192, 4.55ish 82. KJ Hamler - 5'9", 174, 4.44 92. John Hightower - 6'2", 184, 4.41 99. Van Jefferson - 6'2", 197
eball Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 Let's go get two of 'em. I don't really care which ones. 3

BuffaloRebound Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 Jeez. Jefferson that low?... if we could get him in the 2nd round, that’d be tremendous. Honestly, I wouldn’t be upset taking him in the 1st round. 2
VirginiaMike Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 I have not seen alot of video on Shenault so help me out. Should the 4.55 speed figure be a concern? At that figure, I don't see him being able to get open downfield. Maybe that's not his thing, but it's a factor to think about. Maybe he has other skills that make up for this item. I heard that, right now, he's got a 3rd round grade, but depending upon the underwear olympics (aka the Combine) he could move up or down a round.

I personally don't really like him unless we bring in an established WR to ease the load but I think you can make a good case for him to be the pick despite my concerns. 1

Just wait 4 weeks and you won't have to rely on somebody's speculation on how fast he runs. Not much point in worrying too much before then if 4.55 is fast enough.
wppete Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 If Tee Higgins runs a 4.47 and he is available then its a no brainer. I just dont see him last to #22 if he runs that fast. 23. Tee Higgins - 6'3", 205, 4.47 3

Troll Toll Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 Seeing that list just makes me more pissed that we passed on AJ Brown and DK Metcalf. We could have had both of those guys... There is nobody on that list that is as physically impressive, not to mention Brown and Metcalf can ball. 1

Actually I am, but the way the Bills have handled their young QB makes me go bananas. I love a lot about where this team is, but some things I don’t know how we’ll address. It is just torture that we NEEDED receiver help for Allen more than anything else. Two of the best ones to come along in a decade were there for the taking in the 2nd round and we took a Tackle that people thought would have to move to guard instead. This isn’t hindsight either, it should have been a no brainer last year. We had a really easy schedule this year and if our team doesn’t blow a couple winnable games we could have had homefield advantage in the playoffs and possibly wound up playing this weekend. Great that the team is getting better, but sometimes these missed opportunities are the best chance you ever get. I worry that we blew our best chance at a SB run with McD this year. I don’t think our schedule or injuries will be as manageable next year. 1

Call_Of_Ktulu Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 The more I watch Ruggs play the more I want him. I think he will definitely be a better version of Diggs. 1
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 Death, taxes, and the OP shilling for PFF. 1

To me, Cordarrelle Patterson 2.0 and that would be a waste of a 1st. 1

I will say that every time I watched a Clemson game this year I came away wanting Justyn Ross instead of Higgins. Being in NY instead of Carolina this fall limited my viewing options though.

Incredibly fast so I think he'll have his fair share of splash plays, but his hands aren't great and his route running isn't great. It'd be tough for me to draft a WR in the 1st round that doesn't have great hands. He also gets knicked up a lot, he's built wiry almost like Marquise Goodwin, and those type of bodies tend to get banged up in the NFL

I compared Shenault to Patterson in last weeks Mel Kiper mock draft thread, I guess I'm no the only one who doesn't really see a refined WR in Shenault. 1
