According to the CDC website as of the middle of April there were more or less a grand total 3,000 Covid deaths of anyone under 60 years old out of US population for that same age group of a little under 300 million people. That’s 0.00001 of the people under 60 years old....and yet we’re all shaming each other over not wearing masks on a beach.

What I would like to know is how they define "severely ill"?

 

And with those severely ill patients, what % typically reach "clinical recovery" without Remdesivir?  

 

And, I thought that there were some initial trials that showed that people very ill were not improving that much.    In any case, if the market is reacting well to this and they are making the statement that it's assisting people then that is fantastic news.

According to the CDC website there have a total of FOUR Covid deaths of any K12 aged student anywhere in America and yet we closed every school in the country. Yes....that’s right....FOUR!

Trial in Chicago , results leakes about two weeks ago...something like 120 severely ill, 112 walked out of hospital within 2 weeks, 5 still fighting, 3 died. 

 

About a week ago, China says there trial ended in failure, and felt the drug was leading to unnecessary deaths, two other trials could not find enough volunteers for trial. Those results show up on the WHO website "by mistake" .Gtliead disputes results Stock tanked. Cramer came out and was very vocal dont trust China or Who, trust the U of Chicago and Harvard studies when they come out next week. He was crushed for that.

 

Today is today..need to read more , need @Hapless Bills Fan to help this dummy understand it.

 

Overall, just good to see some positive news. And count this TDS dude as one who praised Trump on his stance with the WHO!!!!

  NO.  NYC needs to work through this ASAP.  State income taxes are high enough without Albany crafting a bailout for NYC because sales tax collection in NYC has cratered short term.  Most NY counties have enough retail establishments that the lack of sales tax collection has put these counties in the position of having to lay off workers.  Other portions of government services most likely affected with the short term remedy of raising property taxes most probable.  Sure there is waste and inefficiency but those are long term problems as revenue and expenditures are set short term.

I was not there in Januray, not there in February..but by late March it is readily apparent WHO and China do not have the best interest of the world at heart.

Come on Rob. You get my point. The national media is centered in NYC. They don’t realize that this is simply NOT a big problem in other parts of the country...it just isn’t! We’ve got young people out here in California driving on the freeway in a closed up car, wearing a mask! They have ZERO chance of either getting or spreading the virus! ZERO.

  Yes, I get it and a person can see it in my previous posts on the matter.  Having said that the drum needs to be beat on the matter of lost sales tax revenue and how it affects the operation of government.  A spike in property and income taxes (soak the rich) would just about drive quite a number of people out of NYS including myself.  At this point in time there is very little margin in my business so any more tax would be crippling.  I am not an old guy but I don't like change especially when it comes to where I live.  As far as the DNC and the media go they are heavily invested in a shutdown NYC as that is the first step towards a generally socialist state where the state tells you when and where you can pee.

They don’t and will never get it! Did you see Mayor DeBlasio on the Sunday morning shows? The very first thing he went to was a federal bailout for his City workers! Not their health. Not the guy who runs the donut store. Nope! He wants CASH to pay his public employees who had their hours cut back, or lost pension money during this mess. Tone deaf and shameful.
