Whereas New York State sits at 513 deaths per million. I assume Philadelphia’s number is higher and the rest of the state is bringing down the average but I’d think not to that great of an extent. For some reason the virus doesn’t appear to have spread into Philly. You're both incorrect. Philadelphia is PA's biggest hot spot. It's in every zip code of the city but it's digging in like a tick in the north around Temple and in the nursing homes in the city. Monroe County and the Lehigh Valley are other areas that may be trouble. Edited April 17, 2020 by dpberr

If I’m one of the “two posters above who couldn’t get a biz loan” that you’re referring to, then you’ve grossly misrepresented my post. I blamed a moron who works for Chase Bank. Not a “dem”. Try to be honest, or try to figure out what you’re reading and commenting upon. 2

But with 10M people in the greater Philadelphia area, of course it's higher than the rest of PA. The data could be better but PA and Philly are not a "hotspot." PA case counts since April 1: Death counts are pretty steady too, as you can see in this flattening curve. Edited April 17, 2020 by shoshin

In their last report to the families, they had 18 out of 162 patients infected, with 5 staff members infected.
