Army Corp of Engineers have built 22 field hospitals in 18 different states.

More than 8K ventilators have been sent to cities and states.

FEMA and HHS has distributed 11.5M N95 masks... 26M gloves (he mentioned more things, gowns and masks, but I missed the numbers).

Reached an "amicable" agreement for 55M more facemasks from 3M per month. This ended well.

Apple is producing plastic 1M face shields per week for health care workers.

Salesforce donated 48M pieces of health equipment (masks, gowns, etc)

Next week, week and  a half is a big surge the professionals tell us.

Some states have surplus of supplies and are working with the feds to redeploy them to where they are needed. California is sending 500 ventilators (az, de, wa dc)

The nerve of those people to try and help the American public in this time of need.

Just like the "Mr. Pillow" guy (as that disingenuous prick Acosta put it).

At the present times most critical needs are being met.

"Tremendous light at the end of the tunnel."

He spoke to Biden "warm conversation," lasted 15 minutes. Very nice conversation.  (wish I could have heard that one!)

Currently, 10 therapeutic agents are in trials. Another 15 are in plans for clinical trials. FDA announced J&J vaccine has advanded (and there is a second one).

One of the reasons we have more cases is we have done much more testing than anyone else.

1,790,000 tests so far, more than anywhere else in the world.

Nearly 3000 banks have lent under the SBA loans (that turn to grants).

"I wish we had a fair media in this country, and we really don't."

Can't disagree with that.

Wish we had an honest president who wasn’t a pathological liar. I’m sure that plays a role.

No comment on opening up the country on April 30th, although things are going very well...

He can't make hopeful vague statements...the morons will repeat thousands of times that he definitively promised

the thing.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — In what may be the first lawsuit filed in Louisville over workplace conditions during the coronavirus crisis, two employees of Radio Communications Systems say they were fired for complaining the company wasn’t complying with state-ordered precautions.

The workers, Robbie Payne and Erica Shaw, allege the company’s owner “brushed off” their concerns and characterized the virus as “not that big of an issue,” stating that everyone was “overreacting.”

The suit, filed Friday in Jefferson Circuit Court, said the workers were wrongfully discharged in violation of public policy and requests compensatory and punitive damages.

It was filed by attorney Robyn Smith, who also represents an employee at the Rawlings Group in Oldham County who had complained about conditions there.

Smith said she believes the suit against Radio Communications System is the first filed locally over workplace conditions during the pandemic.
