The lockdown files.

UK health Minister talking about frightening the pants off everyone with the new strain and when to deploy it.

Sounds like a government official saying one thing behind the scenes and something different to the public.

Just look at the good “doctors” unbiased twitter feed - designed perfectly for the easily manipulated conspiracists like DR.

Funny how the cult doesn’t give this guy a hard time masquerading as an expert for using the title Dr… considering his PHD is in computer science.

I followed this story a bit to reporting by the BBC, and if you were to cast a villain in a government conspiracy movie, it would be a guy like Matt Hancock.

He claims a breach of trust and privacy by the release of these texts, and that most folk are too simple to understand the nuances of his genius, but it reads pretty clearly that he wasn’t of Team Transparency or Team Let’s Tell The Truth.

Using geo fencing surveillance techniques to criticize Americans attending church serviced during authoritarian covid lockdowns?

Justified use of a working technology.

Using geo fencing data to identify unique phone fingerprints that were at 20÷ ballot drop boxes and 5+ democrat non profit centers?

That technology isn't accurate you delusional conspiracy theorist!

That trait is the hallmark of these leftist buffoons.  They always think they're the smartest person in the room.  And while the people insist they are citizens with rights and legal protections of a nation the officials working in the government see them as subjects to be ruled by their genius.

Will one of you that reflexively defends Biden, even to the point of declaring that by “all accounts” he speaks more clearly today than he did when he was younger (🤦‍♂️), please take a stab at defending this?

Seems like a very reasoned and logical decision

Collapse of the COVID Truth Regime.

Central to COVID censorship was the notion that people simply cannot be trusted to evaluate evidence on their own and make health decisions for themselves. “Part of the censorship movement is so elitist,” Powell said. The assumption behind COVID “content moderation” was that a small cadre of anointed experts deserved disproportionate sway over public opinion because their views were objectively correct, but this has proven to be far from the case.

YouTube, for instance, suspended users for statements that disputed the efficacy of face masks; these statements have now been vindicated by a landmark Cochrane review of 78 randomized controlled trials, which found that masks made “little or no difference” in preventing the transmission of COVID-19. Resulting mandates negatively impacted deaf and hard-of-hearing people, affected the learning and development of young children, and impaired the social cognition of elderly dementia patients. Because they disallowed open public discussion of their favored policies, social media companies should be considered partially responsible for the collateral damage that ensued.

During school closures in 2020, for example, fatal teen drug overdoses doubled, the child homicide rated increased by 28%, confirmed evidence of child abuse rose by 30%, and there was a 31% increase in the number of child sexual images online.

Clearly a critical assessment of the COVID restrictions placed on children was morally imperative, yet Twitter blacklisted a prominent advocate for school reopening, Stanford’s Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, as soon as he opened his account. As Dr. Bhattacharya recently argued in Tablet, this move and similar actions hampered the conversation around ongoing masking, testing, and quarantining protocols in schools, and these protocols continued in many states without evidence-based deliberation.

THAT’S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU FLUSH THE PUBLIC TRUST:

Covid backlash hobbles public health and future pandemic response.

“Health officials and governors in more than half the country are now restricted from issuing mask mandates, ordering school closures and imposing other protective measures or must seek permission from their state legislatures before renewing emergency orders, the analysis showed.

The movement to curtail public health powers successfully tapped into a populist rejection of pandemic measures following widespread anger and confusion over the government response to covid.”

JENNIFER SEY: The predictable economic fallout of lockdown policy.

Widespread business closures due to lockdowns caused mass layoffs of, primarily, hourly wage workers with little to no savings. Then the government spent money that we did not have so people could pay their rent and not starve. And then they did it again.

Of course, this caused inflation. Then the Fed raised interest rates to halt the inflation.

And now we are experiencing the ensuing disaster that is unfolding in real time. And the little guy is left holding the bag whether through exorbitant pricing of basic necessities like milk and eggs or small business investors wondering when and if they’ll be able to extract their money from SVB to pay their employees and vendors.

No, I’m not a banker. But it’s easy to see what happened and that’s the rough outline in the simplest possible terms.

You can’t shut the world down and think there will not be consequences. You just can’t.

All of this happened — lockdowns forcing small business closures — while corporate employees worked from home and screeched “we’re all in this together” while ordering Uber Eats, watching Netflix and working kinda, sorta sometimes. And of course, while continuing to take their salaries and bonuses and stock payouts. And continuing to do so to this day.

No company dared speak out against lockdowns. I can’t think of a single one. Instead, they laid people off with “empathy”, gave them two weeks salary and continued advocating in support of lockdowns — or at the very least going along with them, staying silent — knowing that the bill was coming.

Earlier: “The Democrats saw an opportunity with the emergence of Covid to crush a roaring economy under a president they didn’t like.

So they, & their base, did everything in their power to impose crushing restrictions on small businesses…Locking people up at home not only tanked the economy & drove up prices, it completely disrupted the global manufacturing & supply chain that was in place. You can’t just flip that on and off like a light switch.”
