I will say that this is the best I've felt since during a winter maybe ever.  I can't even remember the last time I had a runny nose.  I usually will run a cold that lasts a couple weeks.  Nothing this year.  I haven't even taken a swig of Nyquil which is criminal.  A silver lining of masks/social distancing/being more cognizant of keeping hands clean, etc...  In fact, @Big Blitz, maybe the government should make mask mandates mandatory during the winter months from now on.

Pediatricians and ENTs are seeing a huge reduction in patient loads because of masks.

It's a good idea to wear a mask if you can tolerate it and get sick every winter.  And with the pandemic making it no longer seem weird...

Who's gotten vaccinated and have you had any side effects?

 

I just got the J & J one about 5 hours ago because I just wanted one 'n done. No side effects so far... not even pain at the injection site.

I got the Pfizer early on since I work in health care.  No problems.

I’ve not gotten any of them yet but I’ve not heard of anything more than a mild fever and always with the second shot. Now....think about our media for a second and how early on, they were pushing a storyline of significant reactions/allergic/deaths from the vaccine. We’ve now given millions and millions of doses and where did that news porn go? Nowhere! We really have to do something about the trash everyone’s being fed everyday by these jackals, cloaked as ‘news’.

The same people saying today as hospitalizations plummet cases plummett and percent positives plummet, and the numbers vaccinated with at least 1 shot will be hitting 100 million soon, and telling us "NO NO NO TOO SOON TO LIFT ALL RESTRICTIONS THERE ARE STILL CASES AND PEOPLE THAT WONT GET THE VACCINE!" ....

 

These are the same lunatics that told us oh 1 year ago now that "WE CAN OPEN ONCE WE FLATTEN THE CURVE AND KEEP PERCENT POSITIVES DOWN ONLY THEN.."

 

 

These are dangerous people that can't be trusted because they do not value freedom, logic, and most important the fact that the kids they don't have anyway, are facing a 2nd year of bastardized school which includes every insane mitigation policy that prevents entire families and their siblings from seeing them play their sports in person.  

 

That's the rule in Virginia right now.  2 tickets per player.  And we all sit TEN FEET apart.  It's so gross.   

 

Imagine approaching OVER HALF YOUR HIGH SCHOOL LIFE LIKE THAT (no evidence this won't be the case in September) with either no sports or your brother, sister, friends, and others not being able to actually go see you play.

 

 

The suicides and permanent damage this is causing is all on Team Lockdown.    

 

We can be full open tomorrow.  There is ZERO reason why we can't.  Absolutely none.  It's because people are scared, the politicians they chose to trust (DeSantis wants you dead, Biden and Cuomo love you) will gladly oblige their fear and the security they feel when government says we should "practice social distancing and wear masks at all times."  

 

They still don't understand why government really is totally fine obliging that.  See the bill they just passed today.  

 

We warned you they just won't give you back any rights or freedoms.

Me too.   My wife just got the J&J vaccine.  No issues so far.  Projections for vaccine ability for everyone just got pushed up to mid May.  Was previous late May.  August before that.
