The virus continues its miraculous path from the elderly to the middle aged to the young and now to the kids.  Amazing!  Just in time for the school boards to implement masks!!

More kids are being hospitalized with COVID. Experts say we need to vaccinate more people, and use masks in schools.

Doctors are worried more kids could develop life-threatening complications in the weeks ahead.

More vaccinated adults, and more masks for the unvaccinated, would both help.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's official tally, 490 children under the age of 18 have died from COVID-19 in the US so far during the pandemic, 164 of them babies and toddlers under the age of four.

Without an authorized vaccine available to youngsters under 12 years old yet, young children (along with unvaccinated teens and adults) are now at greatest risk of developing a life-threatening case of COVID-19, and the rare but potentially fatal multisystem inflammatory syndrome (MIS-C) associated with it.

You really are a dupe if you don't see what's happening by now.

They know not everyone will ever get vaccinated.  Thus controls wherever they can (Dem run ***t holes) will be in effect for years and they won't ever let them go - what they will morph into and do to society is something the terrified Karens in this country can't understand.  That and data.

Kids with COVID-19 can develop a rare inflammatory syndrome, or long COVID

"In any other time, if we had a new disease that killed 300 children, we would be pulling out all the stops, we would be doing everything we could to protect them," Dr. Andrew Pavia, the chief of pediatric infectious diseases at the University of Utah told Insider.

Really?

Swine Flu Pandemic Hit Children the Hardest

Between Aug. 30, 2009, and June 12, 2010, 279 lab-confirmed influenza-associated pediatric deaths were reported -- four times the average in the previous five influenza seasons, CDC says. The report says that:

52 of the deaths were of children aged 2 and under.

30 children between ages 2 and 4 died.

103 of the deaths were of children aged 5-11, and 94 were aged 12-17.

Of the 279 deaths, 226 were associated with the 2009 pandemic H1N1 strain, 51 with influenza A of unreported subtype, and two with influenza B.

I missed the 2009 protocols I guess.

If I was to go that route I’d probably pick on your weight, but only to encourage you to lose a few pounds so we can continue to make fun of each other for years to come.

Eeeek - being overweight - and old - is a recipe for nasty Covid complications. Hope anyone in those buckets is able to get vaxxed.

It's what happens when you surrender your rights - specifically the one we have here in the 2nd amendment.

Good luck Aussies!

Yeah those poor old overweight people.  I sure hope they've gotten the shot.

BTW what is the risk of death from Covid?

Pretty high if you’re fat, old, and unvaxxed.

Nah

Why not?

That's quite the defeatist attitude.  You must be a Bills fan.

You might as well define fat while you're at it.

Not that old. Time traveler.

Sorry guys. The Bills never win the SB. But the Sabres do win the cup.  After moving to Mexico City though.
