The Wiz Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 They have. Josh is still having trouble with his footwork. 1
Heavy Kevi Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 I remember Shady saying they used it in the RB room. Haven't heard anything about in in a few years tho.
GreggTX Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 In Josh Allen's case, I can't imagine that they wouldn't at least give it a try. I think a lot of his issues could be addressed, including his accuracy. His arm accuracy would be better addressed throwing at stationary targets, but when it comes to the mental calculation of determining where the receiver will be when the ball arrives, VR training could help a lot, IMO. I could also see where it could be used very well to address things like reading defenses and the time it takes to find the open receiver, etc. I certainly hope they are using it. Josh needs to find his receivers and get the ball off more quickly in the future. Also, you can repeat certain exercises more quickly than on the practice field, so you get higher rates of repetition. Sounds like a great idea to me. 1

Good question as to whether the Bills are just more close-mouthed about what they do or don't do now-a-days or whether it's something McD just doesn't believe in.
