Yep, Shaq is helpful against the run, where Phillips seems to realize sacks get guys big fat contracts, so that’s his focus, for better or worse.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 I really like how San Fran is not afraid to go to jet sweeps repeatedly.
Chicken Boo Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 And there are people telling me that Laviska Shenault wouldn't be an asset to this team.

Yeah I love the guy and would keep him for the right price but if he’s going to get a huge deal elsewhere he should. He won’t likely replicate that sack # next year. Love his attitude though.
Putin Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 So the 49'ers would be the favorite against the Chiefs?
Mark Vader Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 Just now, Hapless Bills Fan said: Dude, your answer was the sarcastic “So they are not going to put any effort into fixing that.” And when I call you on that being a non-answer because part of the issue is how they’ve built the LB corps, you say you’ve given an answer and I’m being a “dick”? Seriously? Srsly? Yes. You didn't give me anything. All you did was answer my question with a question. You didn't give a substantive answer to what I had asked before. Then when I respond, all I get is condescension. So yeah, that was a jerk of a response. I think that Beane & McDermott are going to be looking a lot at what they have with them and what they can do to fix it. Be that at DT or LB.
White Linen Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 The niners FB really makes an impact. Ours as the 2nd highest paid sucks. 1

They seem stuck with Star at least one more year do to his cap number. Edmunds & Milano will never be run stopping thumpers. Yes they're fast but too light.
Scott7975 Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 Whats the record for least amount of passing in a championship game? Jimmy is still 4/6 for 48 yards lol.
YoloinOhio Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 (edited) 5 min to go in the 3rd. Jimmy G 4-6 for 48 yards. 33-7 niners Edited January 20, 2020 by YoloinOhio 1
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 I really can’t believe how they are running the ball.

clayboy54 Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 What do you want to bet that Pettine gets replaced next week? 1

Feel our defensive is somewhat plug-n-play. Don’t feel Jordan Philips or Shaq repeat on another team. 1

jkeerie Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 Looks like Shanahan has learned to embrace the run in the playoffs.
Doc Brown Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 Packers had to win a lot of close games to get to 13-3 and it shows. It's a shame the Vikings beat the Saints. 3
