Why are they the team of the decade?

Seifert’s record was better than Johnson.

Certainly debatable, but Seifert didn’t really build that program.

Yes, for the Bills but not for the Jest. He is a NJJ fan.

I think Seifert was a defensive guy, and that era the 49ers weren’t known for their defense.

Defiantly debatable.  Used him as a measuring stick.  He was HC of the niners  for 8 years, so believe he had something to do with building the teams.

What about Tom Flores, he also won 2 Super Bowls.

Getting a bit off topic...

Were those 2 linemen from Seattle just flashing gang signs as they cut to break?  Is the "W" still a gang sign or did that die in the 90's?

Tupac taught me that means "West Side".

Yup. It was Walsh’s program. Seifert just didn’t screw it up. Although, it’s debatable because he didn’t do particularly well against JJ and Holmgren in the playoffs.

Seifert stumbled onto Montana/Young/Rice.

Freddy Kitchens and/or Hue Jackson could have won 1 SB with that roster.

Come on...

Actually the hawks do have some talent aside from Wilson.  But without Carson and Penny, they’ve got no running game whatsoever right now.

First win was Walsh’s team.  Still won.

Second win, Walsh was no longer with the team.
